The good folks at Kobo LOVE contests. It seems every month they have a new promotion out there, and they clearly have fun making each one more interesting than just clicking a link. This time it’s a spin-the-wheel type contest like at the Jersey shore, but without the grease and Axe Body Spray odor. You can win everything from discount coupons to ebook readers to the chance at staying in a super-nice hotel. Sure beats just clicking “like” on a Facebook page!

Here are the full details from Kobo’s blog, and you can enter daily through March 20th. Good luck, and if you win a trip to an exotic location, be sure to send Gear Diary a postcard!

It has been a very long and unpleasant winter at Kobo HQ; snow, rain, wind, and just generally awful weather. It has made us all wistful for better weather and a bit of adventure.

If you share our desire to get out and do something fun, our latest contest is for you!

Starting today, visit here to Spin to WIN an instant prize of  Kobo offers, eGift Cards, or even eReaders!  Play every day and WIN instant prizes.

Plus, collect daily destination stickers for one of the 7 luxurious destinations for our Grand Prize vacation, furnished by Fairmont. If you win the Grand Prize, you can choose from:

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler

The Fairmont Peace Hotel, Shanghai

The Plaza Hotel, New York City

The Savoy, London

The Fairmont, Beijing

The Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi

The Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, Switzerland

So get spinning, and we hope you win!

Good Luck,

The Kobo Team

I tried to go to the contest from my iPad and it simply didn’t work. Unfortunately, Kobo gives you no indication what the system requirements are for the contest (it appears to actually be a Flash app and that sucks -boo Kobo!).
