Incipio [PERFORMANCE] Series Levels 1 Offers Lightweight Protection

Incipio has released a line of cases offering five different levels of protection. Each case looks good and reflects the thought and care that went into creating their design. And with each number you get a bit more protection. This time out, we will look at the two lightest cases in the lineup; the Level 1 and the Level 2.

The Incipio [PERFORMANCE] Series Levels 1 offers lightweight drop protection for your iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S.
For $24.99 the case gives you the lightest protection in the series. In this case lightest not only refers to just how thin and featherweight the case is but is also a euphemism for “least protective.” That’s not a bad thing if you don’t tend to drop your iPhone and don’t participate in extreme sports. The tradeoff for giving up some degree of protection is that you get a case that doesn’t add a huge amount of bulk to the thin phone.

The case has a simple design and an unassuming look.

It offers just enough lay-on-the-table protection without doing anything to limit the access you want and need to the iPhone’s screen.

It offers a plentiful cutout for the camera, microphone, and flash without having to be larger than need be. That’s important since any exposed area translates into potential damage. Incipio strikes the right balance here.

And in keeping with the desire to keep your phone as protected as possible, the company saw fit to keep the bottom as covered as possible while still giving full access to the all-important ports and connectors on the bottom of the phone.

Then there is the side ridge built into the case. It is a simple design but it adds nicely to the protection this light case has to offer. In all, this case impresses.

I like the Level 1 case from Incipio and appreciate the way it keeps scratches off your iPhone. And since I don’t tend to drop my phone a lot I can definitely see using something like this. And at under $25, the case is an affordable way to keep your iPhone pristine.
