Travel Media Pouch from Great Useful Stuff Is Your Upgrade to First Class

I came across a new (to me) product supplier recently when a couple of their e-mails landed in the suggestion box here at Gear Diary. Based in San Francisco, Great Useful Stuff is a self-described boutique-style online retailer, offering a range of products from children’s items to tech to travel, including this Travel Media Pouch.

In keeping with the simplistic naming concept that began with its moniker of Great Useful Stuff, the Travel Media Pouch is exactly just that – a pouch for your media for traveling. Measuring 12”x7”x1”, the pouch is made from durable 100% waxed cotton canvas and offers several pockets for items such as a mini tablet, smartphone, music player, battery backup, charging cords, etc. And as titled, this is a pouch that neatly fits into your larger bag such as a suitcase, backpack, shoulder bag, or whatever you are traveling with.

A large, zippered flap allows access to the Travel Media Pouch and the mini tablet compartment features padding on both sides. There is also a small zipped compartment inside the front of the pouch to securely store valuables, USB drives, or even sunglasses. There is a Velcro strip attached to the underside of the top flap where an included Velcro strap can be attached as it keeps your charging cords tangle-free. The larger pockets have elastic at the top so they can accommodate various-sized devices without allowing them to move around too freely.

When I saw the press release for the Travel Media Pouch I truly thought that this was a product I had been seeking for some time now. Travel in recent years has seen my inclusion of technology devices increase tremendously and I had been looking for something like this to neatly store everything in one place. And this pouch slides right in and out of the outer pocket on my roller for longer out of town visits as well as a backpack I use for overnight trips. And it gives me the peace of mind that nothing will be misplaced should I have to dig into that pocket in a cramped seat on a plane when I need the charging cord or earphones.

The Travel Media Pouch is available from www.GreatUsefulStuff.com in three colors – midnight black (as tested), hunter green, or Cabernet red – with an MSRP of $24.99 currently. And this is not the only travel bag or pouch offered by Great Useful Stuff. Visit their website and check out all the other great useful stuff they offer.
