Master & Dynamic make some of our favorite headphones. They look great, are constructed with premium materials, and they sound fantastic. They are, however, rather pricey. Lucky for you, during their Back to School sale many of their top performers are on sale.
The sale headphones include the company’s MH30, MH40, MW50+, and my second favorite pair of headphones, the MW60. (Sadly, my “favorite” headphones, the MW65 are not included in the sale. The MW30
The MW30 are on-ear headphones that have an MSRP of $199. They are available in four colors which include Silver Metal/Brown Leather, Silver Metal/White Leather, Gunmetal/ Black Alcantara, and Black Metal/Black Leather.

The MH40
If you want over-the-ear headphones and are willing to spend a few more dollars, you’ll want to check out the MH40 headphones. With an MSRP of $249, they aren’t inexpensive but still come at a relatively accessible price. Available in a variety of color combinations, there’s something for everyone.
(And if money is no object, there are some special models with custom hand-engraved surfaces for $999.)
These over-the-ear headphones have 40mm neodymium drivers, dual audio jacks so you can connect the cable to either side or share your audio with a friend, and weigh just 360g.
The included cable has controls specifically designed for Apple products but, of course, that assumes your Apple device still has a 3.5mm headphone jack. If it doesn’t, however, you can pick up one of the company’s cable accessories. They have USB-C and Lightning cables for $49 each.

MW50+
The MW50+ is a most unusual pair of headphones. For an MSRP of $399 you get wireless headphones with 16-hour battery life, Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX and passive audio via the included cable so you can use them in wired mode when the battery dies. As you might notice, I haven’t mentioned whether these are on-ear or over-the-ear headphones. That’s because they aren’t one or the other but both.
They come with two sets of lambskin ear pads. One set turns them into on-ear headphones, and the other turns them into over-the-ear headphones. The amazing thing about them is, as I was told by company CEO Jonathan Levine when we met last spring, they deliver the same sound signature regardless of which ear pads you choose.

The MW60
Finally, Master & Dynamic have included their amazing MW60 in this Back to School Sale. These wireless headphones have an MSRP of $399 and come in your choice of Gunmetal/Black Leather, Silver Metal/Brown Leather, Black Metal/Blick Leather, Silver Lerner/Navy Leather, and Silver Metal/Red Leather. The headphones are made from premium material and are among the most refined headphones I have ever used.
They have 45 neodymium drivers, weight 345g, have Bluetooth 4.1 with AptX, deliver 16 hours of playback per charge and charge over micro USB.

The MW60 look, feel, and sound amazing. They are a bit on the heavy side so they can become a bit uncomfortable during long listening sessions, but that is a minor gripe compared to all the awesomeness they deliver.
