Vigilant Audio SwitchOne Review: Wireless Powered Speakers That Pack a Punch

Audio is a large part of my life, whether it is the sound from watching television or listening to music in my home bar. I love great-sounding speakers and have tried many Bluetooth options in my bar without finding any that I liked. I was recently sent the Vigilant Audio SwitchOne Wireless Powered Speakers to try out, and they did not disappoint.

The Vigilant Audio SwitchOne speakers are designed to deliver outstanding audio performance in a sleek and compact design. They include several connectivity options, making them perfect for any desktop or small area.

The power adapter, link cable, and RCA cables are included in the package. The speakers can also connect via Bluetooth, making them ready to play right out of the box in most situations.

These compact speakers feature a closed-box design with 3″ drivers and dual 4″ passive radiators. The speakers are surprisingly small but are heavy for their size. The pair weighs 6.6 pounds and measures 4.3″wide by 7.1″ tall by 7.1″deep. They are well-made and have a high-quality feel.

The main speaker includes the volume and power. An Aux and headphone plug are included on the front. The rear holds the other inputs, including TRS stereo balanced, RCA stereo, and Bluetooth wireless pairing button.

The cable also connects on the back to link the other speaker. The sound profile switch on the back changes the audio quality from Studio for content creation and music production to a Hi-Fi sound profile for entertainment.

I placed the Vigilant Audio SwitchOne speakers on a corner shelf in my home bar. It is not a giant space, but the area does hold eight people comfortably. I hoped these speakers would have a small footprint and superior sound for when we have people over; the first goal was met, as the speakers fit perfectly and look nice on the shelf.

I have used the Vigilant Audio SwitchOne speakers multiple times, connecting via Bluetooth to my phone and using Spotify to play audio. I have been pleased with the listening experience and audio quality.

While small in size, these speakers sound fantastic. I love the balance between the highs and lows, which works with any genre of music; the stereo sound is crisp and full, no matter what songs I play.

The Vigilant Audio SwitchOne Wireless Powered Speakers are a great addition for anyone wanting high-quality sound in a small package. They are perfect for a desktop system that will enhance a computer setup and deliver high-quality audio, or on a shelf, as I am using them, in a home bar.

These are the best-sounding speakers I have tried in my bar and will have a permanent home there. Whether low-volume listening while people are talking or turning it up loud, I have thoroughly enjoyed the SwitchOne speakers’ audio experience; they are a great option if you have a small space and want a high-quality listening experience.

At $249, they might be a bit pricier than using a single portable speaker, but their small size and the excellent stereo sound they produce make them a better option for indoor use.
