Uncharted Supply Co. First Aid Plus Review: Adding Basic Survival Gear to a Well-Equipped First Aid Kit Makes This a Must-Have

First aid is something I take seriously in my life. Whether at work on the football field out in the woods or working on the ranch, there are many opportunities for first aid to be needed. The Uncharted Supply Co. First Aid Plus adds some helpful survival items to their latest kit, which makes it even more useful. Let’s take a look.

The Uncharted Supply Co. First Aid Plus is packed in their famous 600D tarpaulin, welded and 100% waterproof, with a tear-away MOLLE backer bag. The MOLLE backer allows the kit to be strapped to just about any place you want to store it.

I plan on strapping mine to the inside of my Jeep and carrying it with me when I hunt or work at the ranch. The Uncharted Supply Co. First Aid Plus weighs only 2 pounds 15 ounces and measures 8″ tall by 6.6″ wide by 3.8″ thick. The package is small and light but filled with a ton of supplies. I love that the kit is completely waterproof.

Inside, the Uncharted Supply Co. First Aid Plus is perfectly organized; every item has its place, which is labeled. This not only helps you find things quickly in an emergency, but it also helps you put the pack back together or identify items when they need replacement. The front of the kit includes the first aid items, and it is packed full; most things that might be required in an emergency are ready for action.

This is the most comprehensive first-aid kit I have ever used, and the labeled pouches are a game changer. When an emergency happens, it is much easier to read the label to find what you need rather than tearing through and dumping everything out looking for it.

On top of being labeled, the First Aid Plus kit also includes CPR instructions with the included CPR kit. One side is steps for adult CPR, and the other is for children. Even for someone certified, having a quick reminder of the steps is a great addition to the kit.

The back of the Uncharted Supply Co. First Aid Plus contains the survival supplies. These are basic survival items, but they could be useful in an emergency. The multi-tool is high quality, and Uncharted Supply Co. even included batteries for the flashlight. The matches are a great touch; they come in a water-tight container and even have a bit of cotton included to help get a fire going. These survival items definitely add to the value of the First Aid Plus kit.

The amount of supplies contained in the Uncharted Supply Co. First Aid Plus is crazy! There is even a guide to help take care of basic first aid needs with a pencil to take notes; this is comprehensive. The only thing I can think it’s missing is a tourniquet.
