MEATER Board Review: A Reversible Cutting Board with a Flat Side and a Grooved Side That Has a Pouring Spout — Perfect for Juicier BBQ

The Lowdown

The MEATER Board is a great solution to any cook’s needs. It is thick and heavy, making it easy to cut the largest items or use as a ch0pping block. The bamboo material is easy to clean, looks great, and is easy on knife blades. If more space is needed and there is no juice channel, flip the board over and use the entire area for cutting.

Cons

I love to cook and love to eat. Along with that comes a love for cooking tools and gadgets. No great cook can make it without a great cutting board. I was sent the new MEATER Board to try out with some of my smoked meats, and I was not disappointed.

The MEATER Board is a bamboo cutting board built with quality and features. It measures 19.6″ long by 14.9″ tall by 1.2″ thick, which is a great size for almost any cook with plenty of thickness and heft. Even so, I’d like to see it offered in even larger sizes.

The MEATER Board is reversible with a flat side and a grooved side, including a pouring spout, which will keep all these fantastic juices off the counter and make cleaning a breeze.

As an avid smoker of fine meats, I pride myself on providing an extra juicy product. The MEATER Board is the perfect size for most meats I cook, and the juice is easy to clean up.

Brisket juices gathered in the built-in well on the MEATER Board

As you can see, this smoked pork belly would have made a giant mess, but the cutting board helped keep all the juices in one place. The pour spout is a great addition, especially if you want to save the juice.
