Cons

Anker is well-known for their battery and portable charging options. The SOLIX line has expanded this into the portable power station space. The Anker SOLIX C1000 Power Station is an affordable option that offers 1,056WH of long-lasting LFP battery power, 11 outlets, and multiple recharging methods.

The Anker SOLIX C1000 Power Station measures 14.8″ wide by 10.05″ tall by 8.07″deep and only weighs 28.44 pounds. Its weight and small size make the C1000 perfect for a camping trip or night on the deck.

The package includes solar, AC, and car charging cables, providing multiple charging options.

The C1000 provides 1800W pure sine wave AC output, with a surge output of 2400W. With a lightweight, small device, this is plenty of power to get users through a camping trip, power outage, or long road trip.

There is no shortage of outlets on this beast, with six AC outlets across the front. The Anker SOLIX C1000 Portable Power Station also has two 12W USB-A outputs, one 30W USB-C output, one 100W USB-C output, and a car cigarette lighter output.

The Anker SOLIX C1000 can be recharged via shore power, solar input, or the car charger.

Recharging the  C1000 can be done 40% faster than on comparable power stations, and opening UltraFast mode on the Anker app allows for 100% recharging in only 58 minutes.

The Anker SOLIX C1000 Portable Power Station also accepts up to 600W of solar input, which is plenty of power to get a charge quickly while off the grid. The fast charging options are a game changer for the C1000 since charging sources could be limited on trips.

The color display on the C1000 is consistent with other Anker power stations and provides an attractive and easy-to-read method to keep up with power usage and charging times.

I like that the color matches the styling of the case across all of the Anker products; these are the small details Anker always puts into their designs. As with all their power station offerings, a multi-setting LED light is included on the front.

The Anker mobile app is a great way to monitor and control the power station. The SOLIX C1000 connects quickly and efficiently and houses any Anker products that connect wirelessly. With it, you can see charging and usage times and quickly turn the outlets on and off.

We recently had an outdoor night pep rally for the playoff football team I coach. The cheer sponsor asked if I and a couple of kids would play a song on our guitars during the festivities.

Since we would be in a big parking lot, I powered the guitar amps, pedals, and other equipment using the Anker SOLIX C1000. It went flawlessly, and everyone enjoyed the performance.

There are countless ways to use SOLIX products to satisfy our portable power needs.

The SOLIX C1000 comes from Anker’s ever-expanding line of power station solutions. They are built ruggedly, and the attractive design is carried across all products.

The Anker SOLIX C1000 Portable Power Station’s small size and light weight make it easy to bring along and move around, while the eleven ports and large capacity make it perfect for camping trips, long road trips, or power outages.

The mobile app is a great way to manage the C1000 and an excellent option for owners of multiple Anker portable power devices.

If you need a power station with more capacity, watch for the expansion battery Anker will release in December, which will double the C1000’s capacity up to 2112Wh. The extra battery looks stackable and about the same size as the C1000.

The Anker SOLIX C1000 Portable Power Station retails for $999.00; it is available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including Amazon.
