55″ Sylvox 2024 Deck Pro QLED 2.0 Outdoor TV Review: A Weatherproof TV That Brings Entertainment Outside

We’re in the middle of summer, which is the height of deck time and entertaining. While it is hot, the evenings are nice to chill outside with friends. The 55″ Sylvox 2024 Deck Pro QLED 2.0 Outdoor TV with Google TV is the perfect companion. Sylvox sent me one to try out, and it has transformed our deck into a fantastic entertainment space.

The 2024 Deck Pro QLED 2.0 Outdoor TV is Sylvox’s latest model, and it is available in 43″, 55″, 65″ or 75″ sizes. The Deck Pro is a smart TV powered by Google TV and sports an IP55 waterproof rating. This fully sealed, rugged outdoor TV is ready to transform your outdoor space. It includes a weatherproof remote control and some mounting hardware, but wall mounts are sold seperately.

The TV is housed in a scratch-resistant aluminum case rated to IP55 waterproof standards. This rugged case keeps the television sealed from water and dust and keeps it safe outdoors from -22º to 122ºF.

The premium all-metal housing protects the 55″ Sylvox 2024 Deck Pro QLED 2.0 Outdoor TV, and a sealed cover allows you to access the power plug and all ports.

The foam around the seal encompasses any cords or wires coming out of the television and maintains its watertightness. This great design feature allows for regular TV use while maintaining weatherproofing integrity.

As you can see in the photo above, plenty of outputs are included for accessories. Since I am a streamer, I only need a spot to connect an antenna to receive local channels, and for audio, I will connect external speakers via Bluetooth.

I especially like the hook that keeps the power plug in place. Once this TV is mounted outdoors, I do not want to remove the back plate and fix a power plug.

The provided remote control is also waterproof and dust-resistant. It connects during TV setup and is high-quality. Any needed controls are included, and the fit and finish of the remote are next-level. High-quality buttons and a rugged feel make using them part of the experience.

Four hotkeys for common streaming apps and a voice button for Google TV are included. Batteries are included, and a screwdriver is used to remove the sealed battery cover.

The 55″ Sylvox 2024 Deck Pro QLED 2.0 Outdoor TV weighs 54.5 pounds, so it’s a good idea to have some help hanging it on a wall. The mount is sold separately; no stand is included, so plan accordingly.

I mounted the 55″ Outdoor TV without problems in place of my older and smaller 43″ Sylvox Outdoor TV. We are thrilled to be able to enjoy this large, beautiful television out on the deck.

Once hung and powered up, the Sylvox 2024 Deck Pro QLED 2.0 Outdoor TV will begin setting up. I love Google TV and the ease with which it signs into all of my accounts. It pairs well with my Pixel phone, but any mobile device will connect using the Google Home app. I had no problems getting up and running in just minutes.

Google TV has a great user experience, making adding applications and signing into any streaming service simple. In mere minutes, we were ready to watch everything we subscribed to.

I experienced no lag, and the Google TV worked flawlessly. I started with YouTube and watched the latest video from my good friend, Bradley Robinson, at Chud’s BBQ. The picture quality is amazing, and even his big beard looked glorious!

The 55″ Sylvox 2024 Deck Pro QLED 2.0 Outdoor TV’s display is vibrant and has exceptional clarity. As my family walked by while setting up the TV, each commented on how amazing and bright the screen looked.

The colors are amazing, the contrast is perfect, and the viewing angles are ideal for a deck full of people. With 1000Nits, the Slyvox is three times brighter than most indoor televisions.
