The Lowdown
My experience with the Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV and mount has been fantastic. The picture quality is excellent, and I love the OS and remote. The family has enjoyed some evening movies, I’ve enjoyed watching some baseball from the deck, and I think that having an outdoor television will be a game-changer when friends are over.

Living in a warm climate means we spend a lot of time outside, especially during summer evenings for the pretty Texas sunsets. The only thing better than sitting outside is watching a movie or baseball game on TV outside, and with the Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV and TV Mount, you can.
The Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV for Partial Sun (Deck Series) with mount includes everything you need to enjoy watching a smart TV outside. The 4k HD TV is IP55 waterproof and can handle all weather and temperatures from -22 to 122 degrees F. This TV is made to live outside and is built for performance.
If you opt for the package that includes a mount, you’ll get one that fits televisions from 40″-75″ and sports six articulating dual arms; it also makes it possible for your TV to adjust to just about any viewing angle.
This 38.41″ long by 22.64″ wide by 3.44″ thick TV looks like any other 43″ from the front, but you will notice the metal case surrounding it. This casing provides anti-corrosion and durable anti-scratching making the television windproof and dustproof; the IP55 TV’s box is sealed to keep water out, even while raining.
The power port and all inputs and outputs are on the back of the TV inside the sealed cover.
There are two HDMI and two USB ports included, as well as line out and optical out. There is also a coaxial connection for cable or an antenna. The cover is held by tiny screws and has a gasket to ensure it stays waterproof. Once closed, a foam piece squeezes the wires keeping the moisture out.
I had a unique task in that the location I wanted the 40.1 pound TV was on a rock wall next to my deck. In order to make it work, I mounted two pieces of 2×4 on the wall and then attached the TV mount to those boards. With a masonry bit and some patience, the TV was mounted precisely where I wanted it to be, and it is sturdy.
The mount is easy to install, and the included hardware makes it quick to connect to the TV. I like the six articulating arms. They hold the position well and give endless angle possibilities.
The Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV looks terrific mounted on the house next to my deck. No matter where we want to sit, the viewing angle is adjustable, and it is weatherproof! I do have an overhang from the roof above the TV, which I like as it adds some cover; it has rained overnight twice since the installation, and no, there haven’t been any issues.
Android TV is the operating system for the Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV, and I could not be happier. As a Pixel user, it connected quickly and easily to all my accounts. The usual built-in apps, such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and many others, are included. Setup was a breeze, and we were streaming content in just minutes.
The picture quality is excellent, and my only recommendation with this package is to find an outdoor audio source to run the sound through. I plan on adding some speakers to enhance the sound. We’ve been able to watch the Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV during the evenings and at night with excellent results; it’s designed to be watchable in partial sun, so I recommend not installing it where it will receive direct sunlight.
The remote is large and beefy, and it includes all the usual buttons and controls. As you can see, there are quick buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Google Play, and Prime Video. I like the size and durability of the remote.

I like having the peace of mind that our IP55 4K HD smart television is safe outside and will be ready to watch anytime; it’s a great feeling.
The mount makes it easy to change viewing angles, and it holds those angles solidly. I highly recommend considering the Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV if you’ve ever wanted to add an outdoor television to your deck or pool area.
The Sylvox 43″ Outdoor TV with Mount retails for $1,148.00; it is available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including Amazon (where it’s sold without the mount, but there are plenty to choose from).
