The Lowdown
When we were first introduced to Pitaka a number of years ago, they produced excellent iPhone and iPad cases in your choice of colors, so long as you chose black. Fast forward to the current day, and their cases are not only more refined, but they are more colorful, too! I love their colorful designs, and I appreciate that their cases come with three different levels of protection.

We’ve long been fans of Pitaka accessories and love seeing how their designs have evolved. Pitaka made its name with thin, tough, aramid cases in basic black. In the years since, they’ve grown their catalog significantly. While you can still get a basic black aramid case, they also have fun woven colors and styles if you want to try something new.
Let’s take a look at some of Pitaka’s latest offerings.
The Pitaka Aries Tactile Woven Case Collection
The Pitaka Aries Tactile Woven Case Collection has three styles and costs $69.99. While that may seem pricey, it is more than reasonable considering that the Woven Case is made from a series of intricate interlacing aramid fibers.
These give the case a thin, light profile—22g in weight and just 1.19mm thick—while offering good protection.
The Pitaka Aries Collection cases offer full protection to the phone’s top and protection for the bottom and sides while also offering precise cutouts for the speakers, USB-C port, and controls.
A slight rise over the corners of the phone’s screen offers just enough lay-on-the-table protection to keep your screen safe.
A raised camera lip offers more protection for the iPhone Pro’s camera array than most cases without becoming a bulky slab that hides your phone.
Pitaka’s “Amber Magnet Film technology” seamlessly integrates a magnetic ring with the case. That means you can still charge the phone wirelessly and use MagSafe magnetic accessories despite remaining invisible to the eye. That adds to the case’s sleek design.
Pitaka offers a range of colors and styles, so there’s a Tactile Woven Case for every taste and style, starting at just $59.99.
Pitaka Classic Military-Grade Protective Case
If you need a bit more protection, you might want to check out the Classic Military Grade Protective Case. Made from a combination of aramid fibers and TPU, it has been tested to withstand a military-grade MIL-STD-810H drop test without burying your phone in a plastic block.
The exterior looks similar to the Tactile Woven Fiber Cases, except the buttons are covered in metal rather than exposed, and the cutouts fully enclose the buttons, speakers, and ports.
The interior of the case is lined with protective TPU, which surrounds your phone with protection.
The Pitaka Classic Military-Grade Protective Case also has a hidden magnetic ring, so wireless charging and MagSafe accessories are fully compatible.
Pitaka currently offers fewer designs for the Military-Grade Case than it does for the Woven Fiber Case, but the good looks and added protection make this an excellent case for anyone prone to dropping their pricey pocket computer.
At $69.99, consider this an insurance policy for your phone.
The Pitaka Classic Ultra-Slim Case
The Pitaka Classic Ultra-Slim Case is a great option if you want the thinnest, lightest case possible.
At just .85mm thick and under 18g, it’s about as thin a case as you’ll find. And yet, despite how thin it is—it’s not much thicker than putting a skin on your phone—it also has a hidden magnetic ring for charging and accessories.
Unlike a skin, the Pitaka Classic Ultra-Slim Case protects the phone’s corners, offers a bit of lay-on-the-table screen protection, and has a raised protective ring around the camera array.
If you constantly drop your phone, this $49.99 case may not be for you. If you tend not to use a case, this thin, light offering from Pitaka just might convert you to becoming a more responsible iPhone owner.
When we were first introduced to Pitaka a number of years ago, they produced excellent iPhone and iPad cases in your choice of colors, so long as you chose black. I love their colorful designs, and I appreciate that their cases come with three different levels of protection.
If you need a case as light and thin as possible, there’s an option. If you want something a bit more protective, there are options, too. But, if you want ultimate protection without losing a sense of style, there are also options.
There’s such a wide range of offerings that you’ll definitely want to check them out.
Pitaka iPhone 16 cases start at $49.99; they are available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including Amazon.
