BLUETTI Apex 300 Launches on Indiegogo: Scalable Backup Power for Homes, RVs, and Off-Grid Living

If you’ve ever awoken in the middle of the night to your CPAP machine going silent during a blackout or watched your RV fridge go dark on a scorching summer afternoon, BLUETTI has something that will simplify your life. The BLUETTI Apex 300 has officially launched on Indiegogo, and this isn’t just another oversized battery with a few plugs. It’s a power station built to think bigger, like a full-home backup, RV-friendly, off-grid-capable kind of big. The best part? You can start with just one unit and scale up as your power needs grow, with no complete system overhaul required.

BLUETTI Apex 300

Start Small, Think Big: A Modular Beast

Let’s begin with what the BLUETTI Apex 300 brings out of the box. You’re looking at 2,764.8 watt-hours of storage and a 3,840-watt output. That means you can run most of your essentials, from the fridge to your CPAP to that space heater you swear you don’t need, without blinking. It also supports both 120-volt and 240-volt appliances at the same time. That dual voltage support is rare and makes it far more versatile, especially if you’ve got tools, appliances, or vehicles that don’t stick to the standard plug.

BLUETTI Apex 300

If you’re the type who likes to prepare for anything, here’s where it gets interesting. The BLUETTI Apex 300 is modular. You can link up to three units in parallel, boosting your output to a whopping 11,520 watts and expanding capacity up to 58,000 watt-hours with additional batteries. That’s not just backup power; that’s enough juice to live comfortably off-grid for days, possibly weeks.

Why You Might Actually Need 12,000W Bypass Power

One of the standout features is its support for a 12,000-watt bypass load. That means it can keep high-demand devices running while recharging itself, even powering something as power-hungry as an electric vehicle charger. Most portable systems can’t do that without forcing you to choose one or the other. The Apex 300 just shrugs and handles both.

BLUETTI Apex 300

Pair that with a true zero-millisecond uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and you’ve got something that will keep your devices running even if the grid goes out without even a flicker. That makes the BLUETTI Apex 300 ideal for anything mission-critical, like medical devices, server backups, security systems, or even just making sure the fish in your aquarium don’t go belly up if the power cuts.

Smart Energy That Saves You Money

BLUETTI didn’t stop at raw power. They added brains to match. Thanks to a minimal 20-watt AC idle draw, the Apex 300 can stretch your power much further than most systems. For example, it can keep a refrigerator running an extra full day or extend your CPAP usage more than twice as long compared to similar systems.

BLUETTI Apex 300

But the real financial savings come from features like peak load shifting. With BLUETTI’s app, you can tell the system to charge when power is cheap, like during solar generation or off-peak hours, and then use that stored energy during expensive peak times. It’s a simple way to shave money off your electric bill without even thinking about it.

Solar Power That Actually Keeps Up

If you’ve got solar panels or are considering installing them, this is where the BLUETTI Apex 300 really struts. It supports up to 30,720 watts of solar input when linked with two other Apex 300s, making it the most solar-hungry portable system out there. Even a single unit can handle 2,400 watts of solar thanks to dual MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controllers. In practical terms, that means you can hit 80% battery in about 40 minutes if the sun is cooperating.

BLUETTI Apex 300

There’s also a neat bit of hardware called the SolarX 4K Charge Controller. It lets you bring in up to 4,000 watts of solar power through high-voltage panels. When paired with the right accessories, you can create a mini solar farm that doesn’t just keep your lights on but can potentially run your entire home.

Ready for Blackouts, Storms, and the Apocalypse

With its AT1 Smart Distribution Box, the BLUETTI Apex 300 transforms into a whole-home backup system that automatically kicks in when the power goes out. The app allows you to select which circuits to prioritize, and it also monitors weather conditions. If something nasty is headed your way, it’ll automatically top off its battery using solar or grid power.

BLUETTI Apex 300

In extended blackout scenarios, it gets even smarter. If the battery runs low and solar isn’t cutting it, the system can fire up a backup generator to recharge itself without you needing to lift a finger. Then, once everything is back to normal, it seamlessly switches back to its regular mode.

For the DIYers, RVers, and Road Warriors

Let’s talk flexibility. The BLUETTI Apex 300 has built-in outlets for both 30A and 50A RV connections. It works perfectly as a shore power alternative, whether you’re weekend camping or full-timing it in a motorhome. Need to install a custom setup in your van or cabin? The Hub D1 accessory gives you a 12V/50A Anderson port and up to 700 watts of DC output. That’s enough to run a 12V fridge, Wi-Fi router, and LED lights all day without breaking a sweat.

BLUETTI Apex 300

If you’re constantly on the move, there’s also the Charger 1 Alternator Charger, which takes the wasted energy from your car’s alternator and feeds it into the Apex 300 while you drive. It charges six times faster than the usual cigarette lighter port.

Designed to Last and Built for Real Life

BLUETTI didn’t skimp on materials. The Apex 300 uses second-generation lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, the same kind trusted in electric vehicles. It’s certified to last 6,000 charge cycles while still retaining 80% of its capacity. That’s roughly 17 years of daily use. So if you’ve been burned by battery degradation in the past, this might restore your faith.

BLUETTI Apex 300

It’s also durable. The entire system is designed to resist shock, fire, and drop damage better than the industry standard. So whether it’s riding in the back of your truck or standing guard during a windstorm, it’s built to take a hit and keep running.

The Pricing Game

Now, for what everyone really wants to know: how much? The BLUETTI Apex 300 starts at $1,199 if you grab it during the Super Early Bird phase on Indiegogo. For a beefier setup, you can snag the Apex 300 plus a B300K expansion battery for $2,099. There are also bundles tailored to solar charging, home backup, or RV use, topping out around $4,399 for a full-blown off-grid system with dual Apex 300s and all the fixings.

BLUETTI Apex 300

These prices include shipping and taxes, and BLUETTI is even covering duties and VAT in supported countries. Installment plans are available at zero interest, and early deliveries are expected to begin in mid-June for North American backers.

A Powerhouse That Adapts to You

The BLUETTI Apex 300 is designed for people who want their power system to grow with their needs, not limit them. Whether you’re trying to stay comfortable during the next blackout, cut your electric bill, or embrace off-grid life full-time, this system offers serious flexibility without overwhelming complexity. The fact that it’s launching on Indiegogo means early supporters can get in at a deep discount while shaping how this energy ecosystem evolves.

BLUETTI Apex 300

So if your idea of peace of mind includes having reliable power no matter where you are or what the weather throws your way, this might be your chance to grab a system that’s ready for just about anything.

Having some backup juice for when the power went out for a couple of days… would have been great to keep the food cold.

My area experiences power outages a few times a year mostly on days when temperatures reach past 90 degrees. I sometimes experience power outages during winter storms. Either way, not having power is a major inconvenience. The Bluetti Apex 300 is definitely something that my home needs in case of power outages. I like that it is durable, resistant to damage, and can keep my high-demand devices running while recharging itself. The price is a bit steep, but not having power in 90+ degree weather is worse.
