Flipside 5 Wallet Launches with Faster Card Access, RFID Protection, and AirTag-Friendly Upgrades

Flipside has officially launched the Flipside 5, the latest iteration of its long-running minimalist wallet line, bringing updated materials, improved capacity, and new accessory options to its signature quick-access design. The fifth-generation wallet continues to center around Flipside’s double-sided quick-draw system, which allows users to access frequently used cards from either side of the wallet with a simple thumb motion. Each outer slot holds three to four cards, giving the Flipside 5 a total quick-access capacity of up to eight cards without sacrificing its slim footprint.

For items that need to stay more secure, the wallet includes a hidden internal compartment designed to hold up to ten folded bills, along with a dedicated slot for an ID or driver’s license. A patented card-locking system keeps everything firmly in place, even during active use.

Construction is a key part of the upgrade. The Flipside 5 is made in the USA using a combination of polycarbonate and anodized aircraft-grade aluminum, resulting in a rigid, durable shell that also provides RFID-blocking protection. Despite the added durability, the wallet maintains a relatively slim profile at just 0.72 inches thick.

Alongside the wallet itself, Flipside is introducing two new accessories to expand functionality. The FlipsideKick is a card-expansion attachment that increases storage capacity for users who carry more than the standard loadout. Additionally, a dedicated Apple AirTag holder offers a built-in way to track the wallet using Apple’s Find My network, a feature that’s increasingly expected in modern everyday carry gear.

The Flipside 5 launches at a retail price of $59 and is available in four color options: Stealth Black, Galaxy Blue, Solstice Gold, and Blossom Pink. It is backed by a five-year warranty and is available now through FlipsideWallet.com.

With its combination of quick-access mechanics, durable materials, and modular add-ons, the Flipside 5 continues to refine a design that prioritizes both speed and security for everyday carry users. Click here to learn more, and we’ll have a full review coming soon!
