We’re big fans of BodyGuardz and their various device-protective offerings. I used their skins to protect my iPod touch, my Kindle and even my iPhone. And I’m happy to see that they have jumped on protecting the millions upon millions of new iPad’s that will be arriving this Friday. Let’s take a quick look at a few of them.
First up is the “Garrison for Apple New iPad”. The Garrison is a folio-style case with “bi-fold screen cover and anti-scratch microfiber lining”. Of course it includes the sleep/wake function and has two stand modes.
As the company explains,
The Garrison is the latest offering from BodyGuardz in the form of a sleek, durable & stylish folio case for the new iPad & iPad 2, as well as the Kindle Fire. It provides maximum protection while embodying the style that is synonymous with the BodyGuardz name.
Among its specs are:
• Allows full access to screen, controls, and ports
•Includes HD™ Anti-glare / Anti-fingerprint screen protector
• Bi-fold screen cover with wake / sleep function
• Sleep / Wake Feature
•Made with premium materials
Personally, I like the look of this case quite a bit. It is thin, highly protective and, since it comes from BodyGuardz, I have no doubt it is a quality product. Kirk Feller, BodyGuardz CEO and President notes,
Professionals and commuters that heavily rely on their tablets need an accessory that provides unmatched protection as well as a chic look, and The Garrison offers just that.
At $49.95 the case looks to be an inexpensive way to get great protection that is also quite functional. I look forward to reviewing it soon. But there is more. BodyGuardz is ready to roll out new protection for the iPad in the form of:
clear skins – Full-body films made from BodyGuardz’s UltraTough Clear scratch-proof film. (MSRP: $29.95)
ScreenGuardz – Screen protection made from either the UltraTough Clear or HD Anti-glare films. (MSRP: $15.95 each)
Carbon Fiber armor – Scratch-resistant film that adds a textured carbon fiber pattern. Available in red, white and black. Comes with an HD Anti-glare ScreenGuardz. (MSRP: $29.95)

Universal Tablet Sleeve – Lightweight protection that features a raised-brick design and soft interior to shield the tablet’s display and body. (MSRP: $24.95)
earjax – Full line of high-definition earphones. (MSRP: $19.95 – 99.95)
BodyGuardz is quickly becoming my go-to company for minimalistic protection and something tells me my new iPad is going to be wearing one, if not more, of their products rather soon.
