Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini

Whenever I am on the computer, my iPad is always within reach. More than that though, the iPad is open and, most of the time, on. You see, when I am on my computer, my iPad serves as a secondary screen allowing me to keep track of things that would otherwise clutter my computer desktop while I work. Having a good stand is key to making this work, and one thing that makes a stand qualify as “good” is it having the ability to offer various viewing angles. That’s why the Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini is so terrific. It is a simple design that allows you to have a wide range of different viewing angles.

The Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini holds the iPad in both portrait and landscape positions, and it is easy to pack up and take on the road. Let’s take a closer look.

Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini

As we noted in our review of the Gum Max Duo, the Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini comes nicely packed in a box that offers a window’s view of the stand before you even take it out.

The design of the Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini isn’t complicated, but it is unusual enough that the company goes into detail on both the design and the use of the device on the back of the box. Honestly it is as simple as pull the heavy rubber core out of the aluminum base and lay it on the flat, slightly angled platform.

The closer the rubber core is to the bottom the steeper the angle the iPad will have. It is worth noting that while the iPad is secure in the Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini, it is not held in place. A big (like really really big) bump can send it flying. This is especially true if it is at its steepest angle.

The further away the rubber core is from the bottom the more shallow the angle will be. For a better understanding check out our video review.

I like the Just Mobile Slide Stand for iPad and iPad mini a great deal. It is a simple design that works well, gets attention and is built from quality materials. It doesn’t offer extras like a charging dock or cable management. It is a one trick pony and that trick- safely propping your iPad up for viewing or typing- is executed quite nicely.
