Last summer I was on a train going down to Washington, and as I was getting off at my destination, the person in front of me was carrying a backpack that caught my eye. It had an unusual shape, was rather refined, and it looked great. I got close enough to see that it was a booq backpack. When I got to my hotel I grabbed my iPad, searched the booq site, and I learned that it was the booq Boa Squeeze. Fast forward to this yearm and booq has just announced the new Boa squeeze. Like the original, it looks like a great backpack for anyone who carries a laptop and tablet.
I really love the curved design of the Boa Sqeeze. Sure it grabs attention, but it also makes sense; it means the laptop can sit closest to your back in a padded compartment, and everything else can sit in front of it for easy access. It especially makes sense, because the booq Boa Squeeze was specifically designed to carry a 13 or 15” Macbook, a tablet, plus tons of extras. The booq Boa Squeeze is made with a strong denier nylon water-repellent coated exterior, as well as a contrasting water-repelling interior. The laptop compartment is nicely padded and lined with a material that will keep your previous computer scratch-free. And as you can see, the main compartment zips wide open for easy access to everything you have stuffed inside.
Despite being small and compact, this backpack offers a host of exterior pockets so you can carry and protect everything you need for your daily hike through the urban, or suburban, jungle. There is even a quick-access iPhone pocket on the top of the bag! I’ve been impressed with the booq products we have previously reviewed, and I have no doubt this one will be similarly impressive. The new booq Boa Squeeze has an MSRP of $129.95, and it is available at www.booqbags.com. We hope to have one in for review soon.
I love booq bags, I’ve carried one as my daily laptop/gear bag for over 2 years now and it’s superb.
Which do you have Mitchell?
I’ve got the Booq Taipan.
Carried all my daily gear so well, I haven’t had any need to replace it.
