Free Games with Gold Heading to Xbox One in 2014

Xbox Games Console Gaming Xbox Live’s Larry Hryb AKA Major Nelson announced today, via Twitter, that the Xbox One will receive the same Games for Gold program that the Xbox 360 currently has.  The Games for Gold program gives Xbox Live members free access to certain games chosen by Microsoft each month.  What could be better than free games every month?

Great news: Access to free games each month is coming for Xbox Live Gold members on #XboxOne – Details coming later in 2014

Previous games included in Xbox’s Games for Gold offering include Halo 3, Rainbow 6: Vegas, Dead Rising 2, Crackdown, Assassin’s Creed 2, and more.  I recently took advantage of the Halo 3 free download, myself.  I, for one, am excited by this news as it shows Xbox will continue offering more worthwhile content their paid Xbox Live subscribers.

Ever since I picked up an NES controller, I've been hooked on the latest and greatest gadgets, gizmos, and toys. Whether it's gaming, mobile phones, and accessories, or PCs and Apple products, I'm interested. I use many Apple products in my daily life, such as the iPhone, iPad, and my MacBook Pro.
