Your laptop is likely one of the most expensive pieces of gear you own. You want to protect it on the go but don’t want to be weighed down by a heavy laptop bag. That’s where the STM Blazer Small Laptop Sleeve comes in. This thin, light sleeve fits laptops up to 13″ and can be a stand-alone gear bag.

The STM Blazer Small Laptop Sleeve is made from water-resistant fabric layered with high density foam padding. The two combine to offer nice protection in a simple form. Features include

  • Super soft interior lining cradles your digital devices
  • Dedicated pocket for your phone
  • Zippered front pocket for cables
  • Comfortable quick grab handle
  • Removable and adjustable shoulder strap
  • Designed to fit most 13″ laptops

I love the fact that the STM Blazer can serve as a simple sleeve or, by adding the detachable shoulder strap, a stand-alone bag. The interior space offers decent protection for a 13″ laptop. That, however, is just the beginning. The zippered from pocket is large enough for a power brick and an assortment of cables. A simple pocket on the front is sized nicely for a smartphone or iPod. And an open pocket on the back is perfect for holding a few papers or a magazine.

The permanent handle on one side lets you grab and carry your laptop as you would any north-south bag.

And the removable shoulder strap lets you use the Blazer as a sleeve or as something more.

There’s nothing fancy about the STM Blazer sleeve. It does its job nicely; it looks good, but it is unassuming. It protects your laptop or tablet and comes in a variety of different sizes. You can slip it into another bag or use it on its own. The choice is yours, and that kind of flexibility can be a huge plus. At an MSRP of $40 (less if you buy it through our Amazon Affiliate Store) and available in a variety of colors, it is a great way to protect your investment. Learn more here.
