Outdoor Technology, makers of the Turtle Shell 2.0 rugged Bluetooth speaker, which I gave a glowing review, have gone to Kickstarter to fund their next big product, the BIG Turtle Shell. This new speaker is a much larger version of their original, with a very similar design; it also includes a built-in power bank.
The new speaker has two handles for easy carrying; it is shockproof, water-resistant, dust-proof, and it will pump out up to 110 decibels of high quality music with an estimated 16 hours of battery life. I was a huge fan of the Turtle Shell 2.0, so if you’re an outdoorsy music lover, you owe it to yourself to check out Outdoor Tech’s new Kickstarter campaign. You can get one for a pledge of $140, which is 40% off the future retail cost of $229.95.
