The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is an amazingly powerful small smartphone. It has almost all the same features and specifications as the larger Z3, but it’s a more pocketable size. I went on the hunt for a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact case that would allow me to protect the phone and found the Poetic FlipBook. It’s a nice, inexpensive offering.

A simple case made from synthetic materials, the FlipBook looks like a far nicer case than its price would suggest. And while there is some sloppiness along one of the back seams, the rest of the case is well-constructed. A hard shell holds the phone in place while the synthetic leather (pleather?) protects the side and cover.

This Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Case isn’t anything fancy… but it doesn’t have to be. It looks decent enough and offers plenty of protection. And at the price it is a great case to order and have in hand. And since it is simple to install the phone and remove it, this is one case that will be great “bring it along for the ride because its just nice to have the option” case.
