Not everyone wants to pay an arm and a leg for a smartphone. Or you simply just want your phone to work directly out of the box, regardless of carrier. If you are one of those people, you should be checking out the LG G Stylo, which is a budget smartphone that is sure to meet your needs.
Just last month, the LG G Stylo was made official in South Korea, but it’s good to know that right now in the US, if you are a pre-paid user, or searching for a no-contract option, you don’t have to settle for a flip phone! Offically available today from Boost Mobile in Metallic silver for $199.99 at Boost Mobile’s site, the LG G Stylo is a great graduation gift for a student, or an even better gift for yourself.
Sporting features like a 5.7-inch HD IPS touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass, and a convenient stylus pen (because you never know you need one, until you actually NEED one), the G Stylo is beautiful. With a 8-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus, and a 5-megapixel front with soft light and gesture shot, there won’t be a selfie that you can’t take, if you are still taking selfies. We’re sure you’re guilty, but we can’t judge you.
Want a feature your friends fruity device doesn’t have? The Stylo has a “Knock Code” feature that allows you to wake and unlock your device using a personalized knock sequence. Now if I could only get this for my home, I’d conquer the world. On top of having quickMemo+ which lets you write or draw on any screen (see what the stylus is there for now, eh?), and a 3,000mAh battery, the Stylo will come out of the box sporting Android 5.0 Lollipop, and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor which will make sure all of those games and apps run smooth as butter.
If you don’t want to go the Boost Mobile route, you can wait a few weeks, because on Sunday, June 7th, Sprint’s Prepaid-tier option will supply the phone for the same $200 price tag, for those who like Sprint, and still want to have a no-contract place, and don’t want to be forced to do a credit check and long-term commitment. Then of course it will be available on Sprint’s normal plans, like their Sprint Family Share Pack, or the $60 Unlimited plan (which do not include taxes). Sprint will offer you this starting June 12th for $0 down (tax not included) and 24 monthly payments of $12, totally up to $288 excluding the taxes.
