Actionproof’s SP-06 is made of a soft, rubbery silicon for a great feel in your hand which provides excellent drop protection. The soft silicon covers your iPhone’s power button and volume buttons while also providing access to your headphone jack, lightning port, microphone, and speaker grill.
The SP-06 rises slightly above your phone’s screen to provide protection to the screen in case of a drop, which is a great feature of this case. The rear camera and flash are also protected by a raised piece of silicon while still being open for use.
My experience with the SP-06 was good, as it felt great in my hand and I never dropped my phone due to the soft and tacky silicon. Honestly, it’s a very simple case and it does what it’s meant to do. My biggest complaint with the SP-06 is that the soft silicon made it difficult to put in and out of my jeans pocket at times. This may seem minor, but think about how often you take your phone in and out of your pocket. If you keep your phone in a bag, this may not be an issue for you.
Overall, however, the Actionproof SP-06 provides great protection for your phone with extremely minimal bulk and weight. It looks great, as well, in matte black with the Actionproof logo on the back.
