Kicking off Mobile World Congress this year, TCL Communication has announced that their all-new Alcatel 1T tablet series will be a tandem of two portable tablets – the Alcatel 1T 10, and the Alcatel 1T 7.
Despite being affordably priced, both certainly aren’t lacking any features, especially since the pair will both come complete with the latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
“Today more than ever we count on our mobile devices to keep us connected to the news, people and entertainment we love, and with our all-new Alcatel 1T tablets, we’re giving consumers around the world a fantastic tablet experience,” said Christian Gatti, Global President Alcatel Business Division and Executive Vice President TCL Communication. “Not only are these two of the best tablets we’ve ever made, they’re also two of the most affordable Android Oreo tablets in the market starting at under 100EUR.”
The Alcatel 1T 10 will cost €99,99 and feature a 10.1-inch IPS display, with a 4,000 mAh battery. It’s also super lightweight at 415g, which makes it the lightest tablet at its price.
With 16 gigs of internal storage, you can expand the memory up to 128GB with a microSD card. There are accessories available like an optional Bluetooth keyboard and textured covers if you’re into that kind of thing.
Finally, there’s the Alcatel 1T 7. Sporting an even lighter footprint, this tablet weighs in at 245g and is 9.15mm thin.
It has a 2,580 mAh battery capacity. The 1T 7 will retail for €69.99.
At this price, these tablets make for some great Amazon Kindle Fire competitors. But we don’t know when or if they will be sold in the U.S.
You can find information on both of the tablets by heading over to Alcatel’s site.
