Acer has announced its latest addition to their ever-expanding fleet of desktops with their brand new Aspire S24, the company’s slimmest model to date.
Sporting a black and matte gold colorway, the Aspire S24 All-In-One Desktop sports a whopping 23.8-inch screen despite being only .235 inches thick. This alone is amazing, but if you know anything about Acer, you know that they make it a mission to continue to innovate with features and designs you’d be hard-pressed to find with the competition. A 2017 “Good Design” winner, the Aspire S24 comes complete with a full HD iPS screen featuring a narrow .106 inch bezel with 90-percent screen to body ratio so you get the most out of the screen from every angle. So if you’re fond of (or less than fond of) things like Excel spreadsheets, you will be able to get more space for seeing things like that. Obviously, this means movies will be great to watch as well as photos and web browsing in full screen.
The Aspire S24 also sports an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor on top of 128 dual channel DDR4 2400MHz memory, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a task that this baby can’t complete smoothly. As far as the internals, you’ll receive two 2W 2.1 channel speakers with a subwoofer that has Acer’s TrueHarmony and Dolby Audio are the forefront the S24 has everything you could imagine from audio quality, screen retail, and most importantly, storage with it’s 1TB of included space. Did I mention there’s support for wireless charging thanks to the system’s base. It’s very ergonomic, and with a tiltable display, you can view the vivid display that’s courtesy of Acer’s ExaColor, BlueLightShield and Flickerless technologies.
“We think customers in the United States will be delighted with the elegant aesthetics and convenient feature set of our newest all-in-one desktop,” said Frank Chang, Acer America senior director–stationary products. “The ultra-slim form factor and wireless charging free up desk space, while ample power delivers smooth performance.”
Now I’m sure you’re wondering about how to get your hands on one, right? Well, you can actually pick up the all-in-one desktop for $879.99 later this month. For more information, you can head here today.
