Lenovo has high-end business computers covered, but they create some excellent consumer devices as well. Their IdeaPad line is for everyday computing, and the new lineup covers everything you could possibly want, from simple to powerful to all-in-one devices.
First up, the affordable IdeaPad C340 line. This comes in 14″ and 15″ models, and if you’re more of an AMD than Intel person, that’s an option in 14″ size as well. The Lenovo IdeaPad C340 is also a 2-in-1, so you can use it in regular, tent, or tablet mode. The C340 line starts at only $449, and it will be available in March/April.
Moving up in terms of power and features, there’s the Lenovo IdeaPad S540, which also comes in 14″ and 15″ screen sizes. It rocks an aluminum chassis, thin bezels, Dolby audio speakers, and special RapidCharge technology that gets you an 80% charge inside of an hour. The S540 also offers both an AMD and Intel option, will start at $879, and it will ship in March/April.
Finally, if you’re looking for more of a lightweight but budget-friendly computer, the Lenovo IdeaPad S340 is your best choice. Lenovo calls this their “Ultraslim” laptop, and it comes with a carbon fiber and aluminum finish, RapidCharge technology, and, like the other IdeaPads, has an Intel and AMD option. Look for the S340 line starting at $369 this April.
If laptops aren’t really your thing, there’s also the IdeaCentre AIO A340 in 22″ and 24″ screen size. This combines monitor and PC in an attractive package, so you can keep your home office in plain sight without being embarrassed. Combined convenience is affordable, with the AIO A340 starting at $499.99 for the 22″ size and $679.99 for the 24″ size.
