Lenovo ThinkPad X13s
If you’re on the go often, you should take a close look at the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s. It’s the world’s first laptop to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 platform, which means you’re looking at 5G, up to 28 hours of battery life, and no fan — all in a package that tips the scales at a featherweight 2.35 pounds. Yes, you read that right; Lenovo says you can eke out over a full day on one charge, depending on your usage!
Connect any way you want, with WiFi 6e, 5G mmwave, or sub6 Wireless WAN for speedy and secure connections. There’s also a 5-megapixel camera with triple microphones, so you’ll look and sound your best on that Zoom call. And your IT department can rest easy since ThinkPad X13s integrates with ThinkShield security platform, Snapdragon secured boot, and Microsoft Pluton for plenty of protection!
Even more exciting, Lenovo is extending their commitment to lowering their carbon footprint by offering bulk packaging for less waste, their CO2 offset service, and building the computer itself out of 90% recycled magnesium for the top and bottom, with recycled and recyclable packaging!
They even use a more environmentally friendlier soldering method that reduces carbon emissions by up to 35%! The lightweight and earth-friendly ThinkPad X13s will be available in May, starting at $1,099; it will also be coming to AT&T and Verizon later this year.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5
That’s not all, though. The ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 may sound like something from the X-Games, but it’s actually an impressively powerful laptop. It runs Windows 11 Pro on 12th Gen Intel i9 H-Series processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX Laptop GPU and up to 64GB DDR5 memory.
But it isn’t just the raw specs that are impressive, as the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 also offers Dolby Voice with AI noise cancellation and up to a 16″ WQXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate for a super sharp viewing experience. Touchscreen and/or pen input will also be an option depending on the configuration.
All that power won’t scorch your legs, though, as the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 has an integrated liquid metal paste along the CPU and GPU as well as vapor cooling for a 10% performance boost via better thermal efficiency. Even better, you can configure it with up to two 4TB gen 4 SSDs and a large capacity 90W battery. If you’re drooling, thinking about all of that customizable power, you can pick it up this June, starting at $2,049.

If you’re looking for heavy lifting on the go, there’s the ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 and P16s Gen 1. Specifically designed for engineers, architects, and students and offering a 16:10 aspect ratio display, they’re designed to work well with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and more, for productivity from anywhere.
They’ll come in both 14″ and a new 16″ screen size variation.
ThinkPad T14s Gen 3, T14 Gen 3, and ThinkPad T16 Gen 1
The ThinkPad T series has always been a fantastic series, and Lenovo is refreshing them with new specifications. There’s the ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 and T14 Gen 3, as well as a new ThinkPad T16 Gen 1.
ThinkPad T14s Gen 3
You can configure these with either an Intel 12th Gen Core or an AMD Ryzen Pro 6000, along with a 16:10 aspect ratio and up to a 4K resolution. The 14s will also have an option for a 2.8k OLED panel if you prefer.
These laptops also sport either FHD or FHD Infrared cameras for better video conferencing, as well as Dolby Voice, Dolby Audio, and Dolby Vision.
Lenovo is always looking for new ways to add security; one example is their new AI Virtual Smart Sensor Platform powered by Elliptic Labs, which can sense if you’ve walked away from your computer and automatically lock it down for you. If you work in an office where not locking your PC can get you dinged by compliance, this is a fantastic feature!
ThinkPad T16i and T14i are shipping in April, starting at $1,419 and $1,399 respectively. T14si hits this June, starting at $1,529, while the AMD-powered T16 and T14 start at $1,299 this June; the AMD T14s starts at $1,399 in May.

Now, you’ve configured and set up your new Lenovo, but if dual monitor setups have spoiled you, Lenovo has your back there too! ThinkVision M14d is a mobile USB-C powered monitor that offers a 14″ screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

It’s less than 1.3 pounds, so it won’t break your back to add it to your gear bag, and it offers both USB-C passthrough charging and two USB-C ports that support data transfer. If you’re more of a ThinkBook fan, don’t worry, there are updates to this line too. ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2 and ThinkBook 13s Gen 4i are both getting refreshes, with 12th Gen Intel Core processors, up to Windows 11 Pro, SSD storage, and a fingerprint reader built right into the power button.
ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2 offers Corning Gorilla Glass and a smartpen, so you can be equally productive in tablet or laptop mode. It’s sporting a 14″ FHD Dolby Vision screen so that everything will look amazing, and dual SSD storage with up to 40GB of DDR memory means it will fly through any task with ease.
It offers Dolby Audio with Harman speakers and mil-spec standards to keep chugging along even in harsh conditions. Another nice touch — if the laptop is in tablet mode and locked, removing the Smart Pen will automatically launch the notes app.
Flexibility and power with the ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2 will come this April, starting at $849.
ThinkBook 13s Gen 4
ThinkBook 13s Gen 4 is what you reach for if you want light and portable. It sports a 13.3″ screen and comes in at only 2.3lbs, yet still manages to pack an FHD camera, optional touchscreen, up to 1TB SSD, and up to 32GB memory. They’re anticipating up to 11 hours of battery life, so you won’t need to be weighed down by a charger if you’re on the go.
This thin, light, and attractive laptop comes this April, starting at $849.

The Yoga line isn’t the only flexible offering, though. The IdeaPad line is also getting into the convertible game with the IdeaPad Flex 5 2-in-1 devices. IdeaPad Flex 5i will use 12th Gen Intel processors, while the IdeaPad Flex 5 rocks AMD Ryzen 7 processors.
There’s a 360-degree hinge that’s also designed to tip the keyboard up slightly while in laptop mode for more comfortable viewing and typing as well. The Flex 5 comes in 14″ and 16″ screen sizes, with USB-C Rapid Charge Boost and compatibility with optional Digital Pen or Color Pen.
These offer everything you’d expect from a Lenovo IdeaPad, with the added bonus of 2-in-1 convertibility. Look for them in May, with the 14″ Intel starting at $619.99 and the AMD starting at $689.99; the 16″ Intel will start at $899.99, and the 16″ AMD will start at $749.99.

If you’re looking for even more flexibility, the IdeaPad Duet 5i offers the next step with a detachable keyboard, allowing you to use it as a full tablet running Windows or a convertible laptop, depending on your needs. It’s compatible with an optional Active Pen, and the keyboard uses Bluetooth, so you could set up and use the keyboard and screen while separated if there’s a more comfortable angle for you.
The IdeaPad Duet 5i offers a 12″ touchscreen, 2 USB-C ports, and Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos, making it useful for both productivity AND entertainment.

On the software side, the interface can be shifted to a tablet version that’s more finger and stylus friendly.

If you’re looking for something a little roomier, there’s also the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook with a 15.6″ screen, Intel Pentium Silver processor, and a large enough keyboard that it includes a dedicated number pad.
IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook is expected this June to start at $499.99, and the IdeaPad Flex 3i should be available this May starting at $399.99.

The keyboard will offer anti-pry and water-resistant keys, which seems like a nod to the fact that ChromeOS is used quite often on the go and in educational settings where extra durability matters. It will sport both a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and an 8-megapixel rear camera, in case you feel the urge to take photos with your tablet.
