If you’re still thinking of TCL as the television people, you need to expand your expectations. They’ve been putting out impressive budget-friendly Android phones for a few years now, and they’re adding 5G and refreshed cameras, as well as updates to their NXTPAPER tablet line. Plus, they’ve shown off some proof of concepts that indicate they’re not done innovating yet!

Lineup of TCL series phones

First, let’s look at the slew of TCL 30 series phones heading to Europe. They’re releasing the TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+, and TCL 30, all with a 6.7″ screen, while the TCL 30 SE and the TCL 30 E will have a 6.52″  mini-notch display.

All the phones have NXTVISION, so you’ll have a sharp and clear viewing experience. TCL 30 SE and 30E offer a 5000mAh battery, while TCL 30 5G, 30+, and 30 all offer a 5010mAh battery, but no matter which, you’re getting plenty of juice for all day.

All the new 30-series phones offer a 50-megapixel AI triple camera, so you’ll easily snag a good shot, and the 30 5G and 30+ also add in a wide-angle front-facing camera for better group selfie shots.

TCL has also been making impressive tablets, and they’re continuing that with several new offerings.

The TCL NXTPAPER MAX 10 is a 10.36″ tablet offered in both WiFi and 4G configurations with the special paper-like NXTPAPER screen that makes reading, note-taking, and watching movies a pleasant experience for your eyes!

There’s also the TCL TAB 10 HD 4G which sports a 5,500mAh battery for solid all-day use; this way, you’ll never miss out on the latest Instagram update or YouTube highlights of a stranger playing Minecraft.

Finally, there’s the TCL TAB 10s 5G, with a 10.1″ display, 5G connectivity, NXTVISION technology, and a beefy 8,000mAh battery.

NXTPAPER MAX 10 will be available in Q2 starting in Asia for €269; the TCL TAB 10 HD 4G is available in Europe starting at €179, with an FHD version hitting in April in Asia starting at €199. The TCL 10s 5G will hit in Q2, starting at €349.

Finally, TCL has shown they haven’t missed the folding phone revolution either. While it’s still a proof of concept, they’ve shown off some innovative ideas regarding how they would design a folding phone, and if we’re all very lucky, maybe we’ll get to see a real one someday because this is pretty exciting!
