I first met BN3TH last fall when I reviewed their new merino wool base layers. Since then, I’ve become a fan of the company’s base layers and undergarments. They recently sent me a pair of their new Entourage boxer briefs and the North Shore Bike Chamois. Both pairs of BN3TH Boxer Briefs have impressed me. Let’s take a look.

BN3TH Entourage Boxer Briefs

BN3TH was the first company to introduce a design that truly considers the male anatomy. Their “MyPakage Pouch Technology,” as they call it, looks like a gimmick, but, as I can say from experience, it makes BN3TH’s boxer briefs among the most comfortable I have ever worn.

They have now used that same technology in their new Entourage collection. The Entourage collection is made using the company’s EcoDry fabric.

The fabric is soft and breathable and comes in various vibrant prints. Best of all, though, the fabric is made from 100% recycled bottles. That means that items in the Entourage collection are not only great boxer briefs but they also play a small part in helping save our planet from the growing issue of plastic waste.

I appreciate the wide, comfortable waistband on the boxer briefs. I also appreciate the tagless design and how it adds to the comfort of wearing the briefs.

And, as I have experienced with prior BN3TH boxer briefs, the “MyPakage Pouch” keeps everything in place and minimizes chafing. That’s especially the case in the summer. But what really stands out is the fact that the boxer briefs have just enough stretch to allow the boxer briefs to move with me.

BN3TH describes the boxers this way:

Whether they’re shredding waves, half pipes or just vibing on the beach BN3TH’s Entourage collection featuring EcoDry fabric, made from 100% recycled bottles is the perfect active base layer.

I’ve worn BN3TH boxers made from merino wool and cotton, but this new collection is ideal for summer. They breathe, they stretch, and if I decide to take an impromptu dip in our pool, they dry quickly. And while they are more expensive than the multipacks of cotton underwear you can purchase at Costco, at $35 a pair, they are a good value.

That’s especially so since, thanks to the thoughtful construction of all of the company’s products, they will far outlast discount boxers.

BN3TH North Shore Chamois Cycling Briefs

I recently started biking again; I love being out on the road, I love the wind rushing past me, and I love getting some exercise rather than driving my car to and from the office. But, when I try to ride for any significant period of time, I find that the padded seat isn’t quite padded enough.

I was about to go out and purchase a dedicated pair of biking shorts with padded seats. I’ve always thought they looked a bit silly, but it has got to the point where my comfort is more important than my appearance.

Then I saw that BN3TH offers boxer briefs with similar padding built into the seat.

The padded area, which they have named “STS- Sea to Sky,” has a 3mm thick cover, combined with a central channel to allow for improved blood flow and reduced pressure.

Finally, the padded area also has specific areas of even thicker padding for maximum comfort even during long rides. The padding is substantial and already makes my rides more comfortable.

But that’s just part of why I’m thrilled to have these boxers.

Other features built into the North Shore Chamois Cycling Underwear make it worth the $85 price tag. They have a thick waistband with silicone beading for extra grip.

Vented fabric in the back helps increase airflow, and silicone grips at the bottom of the leg openings keep everything in place.

And, like BN3TH’s other boxer briefs, the North Shore Shamois feature the company’s MyPakage Technology. That is especially important when riding a bike!

But BN3TH didn’t stop there. They also built permanent silver anti-odor technology into the fabric used to fabricate the boxers. A comfortable ride AND less stink? Sign me up!

The boxers are made from 82% polyester, 11% Spandex, and 7% Ionic+ Polyester. That means they are breathable and feature just enough stretch to let the shorts move with you as you pedal.

This is what BN3TH has to say:

DESIGNED FOR ULTIMATE COMFORT WHILE MOUNTAIN BIKING: The NEW North Shore Bike Chamois features BN3TH’s first of its kind patent-pending MTB-specific (Sea-to-Sky) STS Pad™ and patented MyPakage Pouch Technology™ to support your boys.

Designed to be worn under shorts, this high-performance liner is everything you love about BN3TH underwear combined with a new world of comfort designed for your ride, plus the permanent silver anti-odor IONIC+™ technology that kills stink before it starts.

Make every ride your best yet & crush the trail, road or indoor trainer, not your boys.

BN3TH North Shore Chamois Cycling Underwear

The North Shore Bike Chamois makes my rides far more comfortable. But the best feature of the boxer briefs is that I can wear them UNDER any other pair of shorts. That’s a big deal to me; while I’m having fun, I am not a serious rider, so wearing such shorts would make me feel like a poser.

With these boxer briefs, I get the best of both worlds.

If you plan to pull your bike out this summer, do your bum and your boys a favor and pick up a pair.

BN3TH Boxer Briefs sell for various prices; the Entourage Boxer Briefs are $35, and the North Shore Chamois Cycling Briefs are $85; they are available directly from the manufacturer.
