The Lowdown
The Ca’Lefort 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator is solidly built, is simple to set up, and is even simpler to control. Having it set next to the sliding door to the backyard filled with wine, seltzer, and beer is so handy; it’s great to have a selection of cold beverages in such an accessible space! Cons
I recently received the Ca’Lefort 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator to test, and so far, I’m impressed. I had never seriously considered getting a refrigerator explicitly designed for beverages, but after having the Ca’Lefort for a short while, I’m already thrilled it is in the house; it’s so convenient. Let’s take a look at how I’m using it.
We have an extra refrigerator left over from a kitchen renovation that we keep in the laundry room, and it’s been convenient to keep cold drinks in it rather than overstocking the kitchen fridge.
Still, because the “drink refrigerator” is in the laundry room, whoever wants a cold beverage when we’re hanging out in the backyard would have to walk through our house to get one.
Our house has a pool, and when the weather warms up, Raina and I spend a lot of time outside. When the Ca’Lefort 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator arrived, I found a spot for it near the sliding door leading to the backyard.
That means that when someone needs a drink this summer, they’ll just need to reach inside the door and grab a cold one.
But I’m getting ahead of myself.
The Ca’Lefort 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator arrives almost completely assembled. The setup required me to attach the aluminum alloy handle with two screws before plugging it in, and that was it!
The refrigerator ships with the hinge on the right, but it also comes with the hardware necessary to reverse the door if that’s more appropriate for your chosen location.
I was fine with the hinge where it was, so I put the extra hardware in a drawer just in case I need it in the future.
The Ca’Lefort 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator’s tempered glass door is ringed with polished aluminum for a clean, modern look. It also has dual-layer UV protection so direct sunlight won’t be a problem for items stored inside.
The refrigerator also has adjustable feet to ensure it sits securely on the floor without rocking.
I didn’t need to make any adjustments here either, so the only thing left was to plug the appliance into an outlet.
To match your taste or decor, you can set the interior lighting to blue, amber, or white.
The Beverage Refrigerator is surprisingly small, yet it can keep up to 100 cans cool and ready to drink; it measures 34″ high by 14.8″ wide by 22.41″ deep, and it weighs 85 pounds. Inside, four adjustable chrome shelves can be set up to accommodate bottles and cans of various sizes.
Larger cans or bottles will obviously reduce the total number of items that can be placed inside, but even when arranged to accept larger containers, the beverage refrigerator holds a healthy number of items.
I was surprised by how quiet the compressor is (it’s under 41db), and I was impressed by how quickly it reached the 37ºF to which I initially set it.
Ca’Lefort notes that the 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator has a quiet, efficient compressor that is paired with a “state-of-the-art” fan that informally distributes and moves the air inside; this helps ensure all the beverages inside are cooled to the optimal temperature.
A digital touchscreen on the front of the fridge displays the current temperature, and capacitive buttons allow you to set the temperature anywhere between 34 and 54 degrees.
Once set, you just load the beverage refrigerator with your favorite drinks and enjoy.
There’s no need to fuss with complex settings or adjustments, and thanks to the auto-defrost feature, you won’t even need to worry about drinks inadvertently freezing over.
I love the simplicity of the setup and this product’s ease of use.
As mentioned, I’ve placed the beverage refrigerator by the sliding door to my backyard. It looks neat and clean, and the location is about as optimally convenient as it could be.
If, however, you want to have it built into a new kitchen, the fact that it vents to the front of the appliance makes that a viable option.
Ca’Lefort 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator Features:

As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, I never thought I would want or need a beverage refrigerator, but now I see the light!

Now the full refrigerator in the laundry room is freed up, and it has plenty of room for backup drinks when guests come over, and having a pool means plenty of guests during the summer!
As mentioned at the beginning of the review, I haven’t had the Ca’Lefort 15″ 100-Can Beverage Refrigerator for long, but because it is so well-built, I’m not anticipating having any trouble with it, but it’s good to know that it comes with a one-year unit warranty, a two-year part warranty, and a three-year compressor warranty.

What Needs Improvement: Nothing
tHAT LOOKS GOOD.
If you have a 15″ bottom cabinet in your kitchen you could replace it with this fridge. What a great idea.
That looks really great.
This made me think of an old newspaper comic strip where a salesman was trying to sell someone a refrigerator that could launch a can to someone sitting on the living room couch so they wouldn’t have to get up.
