What caught my attention is that Yale has stepped up their game with some really interesting features. To start, they’ve come out with their very first fingerprint smart lock, the Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch.

You can register up to 20 different fingerprints; all you need to do to lock or unlock your door is place your finger on the Yale logo.

There’s no more fumbling for keys or memorizing codes. Of course, you still have other options like using the touchscreen, the Yale Access app, asking a voice assistant, using Auto-Lock and Auto-Unlock, or using the usual key as a backup (with the keyed models).

But that’s not all – the new Yale Assure Lock 2 Plus adds another first for the brand, as it supports Apple Home Keys. This means if you’ve got a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch, you can simply tap to unlock your door.

And even your buddies who share the Apple Home app will also get a digital key on their Wallet.

The best part? These keys keep working for a good while, even if your phone or watch is running low on battery.

Yale has packed some cool features into the Assure Lock 2 Touch and Assure Lock 2 Plus.

With them, you’re getting the same helpful and secure features that the Assure Lock 2 collection is known for, like simple guest access sharing with 24/7 control and visibility in the Yale Access app, a sleek, elegant, and compact design that blends seamlessly into any home aesthetic, and Bluetooth and Apple HomeKit 3 compatibility.

These locks are totally in sync with today’s tech world; they’re all about Bluetooth and Apple HomeKit compatibility. And if you want to level up your game, you can even add a Yale Wi-Fi Smart Module.

That’s like unlocking a whole new level of convenience – think remote locking, letting your guests in from anywhere, and even getting help from voice assistants like Alexa and Google Home; now your door can join the smart home party.
