It is the perfect time of year to get outside and enjoy the improving weather. It is also a great time to have a portable speaker ready for any adventure, but what if you want something more than the usual portable speaker can provide? That’s where the Rocksteady Stadium 2-Speaker and Subwoofer Pack shines. Sure, you can bring just one of the Rocksteady Stadium Speakers along, but if you want a bigger stereo sound with more bass oomph than a single portable speaker can provide, this is the perfect solution.
The Rocksteady Stadium 2-Speaker and Subwoofer Pack is a wireless stereo speaker set that includes two Rocksteady Stadium Speakers and a Rocksteady Stadium Subwoofer. This is the first portable speaker set I’ve tried that consists of a separate subwoofer, and the satellite speakers’ sound improvement is noticeable!
You can buy a Rocksteady Stadium Speaker on its own for $149, but the magic really happens when you combine two or more of them, set them for left or right stereo sound, and add the Rocksteady Stadium Subwoofer, which sells for $179.99.
Rocksteady offers two or four speakers with the subwoofer Stadium Bundle configurations; the Rocksteady Stadium 2-Speaker and Subwoofer Pack they sent me for review includes two speakers, one subwoofer, and USB-C charging cables for each speaker.
The Rocksteady Stadium Speaker provides rich audio quality and works well as a single-speaker option when you want something more portable or when you want to have a speaker in every room at home or work. The touch controls are all on top of the speaker, and lighted buttons help with the visuals.
The Rocksteady Stadium Speakers are well-built and heavy enough to reflect that quality, yet they are still easily portable. Each speaker measures 6″ tall and 4.25″ in diameter. They contain a woofer, mid/bass driver, and tweeter to give a full, balanced sound.
There is a mounting point on the back of each speaker, so if you don’t have a place to set it down, you can hang it from a wall or add a woven or leather carrying strap to make it even more portable.
The 6″ tall by 8″ wide Rocksteady Stadium Subwoofer adds clean bass to the Rocksteady Stadium Speakers. The front-firing bass driver wirelessly connects to the other speakers in the setup, adding a layer of full audio sound.
When linking more than one speaker to the subwoofer, you’ll notice that each speaker has a toggle to choose right, dual, and left channels to create a high-quality stereo sound. The distance between speakers can be adjusted to get the best sound depending on how many speakers you have and where you are listening.
Connecting the speakers to each other is as simple as a single tap on the top, and each component’s battery lasts up to 30 hours.
Offering a stand-alone subwoofer is unique and greatly improves the audio quality. The portable subwoofer’s bass is not booming deep but adds a wonderful, deeper layer to the sound when paired with other Stadium speakers. I prefer balanced audio that has low notes you can feel, so I love the sound with the subwoofer added.
It becomes the Host speaker after pairing one of the Rocksteady Stadium Speakers with your audio source using Bluetooth 5.0 or the 3.5 AUX line-in cable. You can then connect any other Stadium Speakers and Stadium Subwoofers to the Host. This video explains how that works.

The three speakers are easy to move around, and the set sounds phenomenal, whatever type of music I listen to. I appreciate that unlimited Rocksteady Stadium Speakers and Stadium Subwoofers can be connected if you want to grow your system, making any indoor or outdoor space sound exactly as you’d like.
While they are great for outdoor use, you should keep in mind that they don’t have an IP dust or water resistance rating, so you can’t leave them outdoors if they’re in an uncovered spot and there is a chance of rain.
The Rocksteady Stadium 2-Speaker and Subwoofer Pack sells for $499.97 (currently on sale for $399.99); it is available directly from the manufacturer.
