The Lowdown

Ampace products are reliable and well-designed, and the Andes 300 rounds out its offerings to cover just about any power-need situation. The small size and light weight make for a super portable power solution for devices on the go. It is easy to carry and includes numerous ports to charge various devices. The small size means this power station will travel with me to all our out-of-town games this year to keep phones and cameras charged.

Cons

Portable power stations have become an excellent tool for anyone on the go or during an emergency. With many options available, sometimes users just need something ultra-portable. There is not always the need to keep household appliances running, but devices might just need to be charged, especially while mobile. The Ampace Andes 300 portable power station checks all of these boxes.

The Ampace Andes 300 portable power station is a lightweight energy solution perfect for camping, road trips, RVs, and home backup. It weighs only 8.2 pounds and has a one-piece aluminum handle, which makes it easy to carry. This compact power station is still packed with all the great Ampace features we are used to.

The Andes 300 is super portable, measuring 9.6″ wide by 8.3″ deep by only 5.6″ tall. Its small footprint means easy storage and transport. I really like the handle and how easy it is to carry. 300W of pure sine wave power and 266Wh of capacity make this an affordable option for keeping devices charged and ready.

Six output ports provide many options for charging devices. Two USB-A ports, two AC outputs, one USB-C output, and one car outlet are all included—a lot for such a small portable power station.

The Ampace Andes 300 can be charged in one hour using the included AC cord or in 2.6 hours using 100w of solar power. The battery management system ensures a long lifespan of up to ten years and protects devices.

The display follows other Ampace devices, as it is easy to read and contains all critical information. The battery percentage is indicated via numbers and a graph. The remaining time is displayed according to current use and input and output watts.

The Ampace Andes 300 also connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to the mobile app to monitor usage and power status anywhere. I love how the app includes all Ampace devices and displays all important information.
