The Lowdown
The Ninja Crispi DualZone Glass Air Fryer solves two of the biggest complaints about traditional air fryers: non-stick coating longevity and not being able to see inside while cooking. If you need dual-zone flexibility and prefer glass over coated metals, it earns its spot on the counter. The dual-zone feature is a game changer when making a full meal, and the 6-in-1 cook settings ensure everything cooks to perfection.

Cons
If you have been keeping an eye on countertop kitchen gadgets, Shark|Ninja has been on a run lately. Their latest release, the Ninja Crispi DualZone Countertop Glass Air Fryer, takes the popular dual-zone air fryer concept and swaps out the traditional opaque metal drawers for heavy-duty glass containers. In true Ninja form, the Crispi is full of features and works extremely well.
Instead of non-stick metal baskets with chemical coatings, the Ninja Crispi DualZone uses two CleanCrisp 4-quart glass containers. They are PFAS- and PTFE-free, thermal-shock resistant (going straight from fridge to fryer), and let you inspect your food without pulling out a basket and dumping all the heat. I find them to be easier to clean than traditional air fryer baskets. They also look nice enough to pull out of the Crispi and serve right from the container, and the heat-safe feet let you set them safely on any surface. Snap-on, BPA-free lids are also included so leftover food can go straight into the fridge in the same container it was cooked in.

What really makes this Ninja Crispi shine is the DualZone technology. Two independent cooking zones let you cook two distinct foods at different times and temperatures at the same time. This technology has really sped up our dinner prep when needing to cook more than one item in an air fryer. As you can see in the photos in this review, we have used this feature many times already. It also lets you cook two containers of the same food if you are cooking for a larger group.

Cooking uniquely different foods in the Ninja Crispi DualZone at one time and worried about timing them so they’re both done at the same time to serve hot? The Smart Finish & Match Cook feature syncs both zones so two different meals complete at the exact same second. Match Cook will mirror settings across both sides when cooking an 8-quart batch of the same item.

There are six cook settings available. We have tried all of them with great success. Max crisp is my favorite, since I want stuff super crispy and cooked fast. One note is that you can only utilize the max crisp setting on one zone at a time. The other settings are all self-explanatory: Air Fry, Bake, Roast, ReCrisp, and Dehydrate. My son made some amazingly tasty beef jerky using the dehydrate setting. Ninja also has some recipe ideas, so we tried the pizza bites, and they were a huge hit.

What I Like: Dual cooking zones; 6-in-1 cooking settings; The glass containers can be used for storage or serving; You can see the cooking progress; The cleanup is a breeze
What Needs Improvement: Some may find the glass containers to be rather heavy compared to conventional air fryers
Other than the cost, this has unique solutions to the problems with many air-fryers. Let’s hope their innovations make their way down to lower-level models in time.
