Violoop Brings AI from the Cloud to Your Desk for the Ultimate in Assistance and Security

Did you know AI is the next big thing in computing? If you rolled your eyes and almost clicked away, just hold off one second, because BVIO has a new twist on AI with the Violoop. Instead of dispatching all your AI needs to the cloud, the Violoop is effectively a local AI you plug into your computer, but with all the assistance you’ve come to expect from artificial intelligence.

Violoop

Once you plug Violoop in, the AI can basically hop around and keep up with your whole workflow. For example, it might pick up a customer email, update notes in your CRM, draft any necessary tasks, and then create an email for you to approve in response. And since a local AI manages all of this, none of it goes to the cloud.

Everything on your computer screen is processed on the Violoop. The device is set up to handle all processing locally, and to further the security, it has a dedicated security chip to give you extra assurance the AI isn’t making any decisions you didn’t already authorize. You can even leave it running when you’re away, and if it needs your attention, it can message your mobile device to decide the response.

If you’ve already been using an AI client like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others, you can bring the APIs over to Violoop as well. That way, you’re not starting from scratch while you lock down your privacy and security. And when you’re freed from the cloud, it’s easier to run it across multiple apps on your computer, so you can almost treat the AI like a true assistant. It also means that since Violoop can use the computer like a user, it means every app has access to AI.

If you’re curious about adding AI to your workflow but want to keep it contained and private, Violoop might be the right fit. It launches September 15th on Kickstarter, with early backers able to get it for $399 versus the projected final cost of $699.
