Pressy is the latest rockstar Kickstarter project. This simple button plugs into the headphone jack of your Android device and, thanks to a companion app, can be programmed to activate a variety of actions with a simple button press. With a goal of $40K, it is already over at $300,000 with 44 days to go! I backed. Check it out.

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone.
