Battlefield 4 players will get extra bonuses this week as they do battle in the campaign modes and multiplayer/online, which allows 64 players to play each other at 60 frames per second. From Thursday, November 28 to Thursday, December 5, Electronic Arts/DICE has designated a special week to compensate game owners since they encountered technical and gameplay snafus.
So the initial issues are getting fixed after the military action first person shooter (FPS) Battlefield 4 launch, which are especially evident in this following statement I received in a general email:
“…we will not move on to other projects until we are sure that Battlefield 4 meets – and exceeds – your expectations. It is the right thing to do.”
So performance issues are being addressed and the people can feel they were heard. Now for the goodies. From November 28 through December 5, Battlefield 4 players get Double XP for every multiplayer match they complete. This incentive compensates players for any XP they may have lost.
Now the other incentive (just to make you feel better) comes on the last day, December 5. Players that log in to Battlefield 4 multiplayer receive a M1911 pistol scope. This special sidearm scope has a 3X zoom and is available for all classes in Battlefield 4.
You are the heart and soul of Battlefield. We thank you for your support in these early days of the launch, and will continue to show our appreciation as time goes on.
Electronic Arts/DICE has designated this special week to give all Battlefield 4 players a chance to reap the benefits. I was reminded of the recent $500,000 in-game cash incentive to players for Grand Theft Auto Online issues and the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program when they compensated buyers who got the handheld console for $250 instead of the reduced $170 price.
What do you think of the Battlefield 4 compensating incentive list? Too much? Unnecessary? …Not enough?
