Just yesterday, Plantronics announced the availability of their new Plantronics BackBeat PRO Wireless, Noise Canceling Headphones. The latest audio offering from one of the best-known headset producers, the BackBeat PRO takes the company’s experience and know-how in a new direction. The $249.99 headphones are wireless, noise-canceling and comfortable. And that’s just the beginning of the tricks they offer. We have a pair of the headphones in hand, and I will be doing a full review shortly. In the meantime, we thought we might run down two or three of the killer features they offer.
Plantronics describes the BackBeat PRO stating:
To find refuge from a noisy world and immerse in your music, slip on the new BackBeat PRO stereo headphones and let rich, lifelike audio make every moment your own.
That’s nice, but we’ve seen wireless headphones with active noise-cancelation before. What makes the Plantronics BackBeat PRO wireless NC cans diffent?
How about the fact that the BackBeat PRO offer up to 24 hours of music streaming per charge?
How about the fact that you can recharge them in about 3 hours?
How about the fact that, in the unlikely event that you do run out of juice you can still use them as wired headphones?
How about the fact that, unlike most other Bluetooth headphones that need to be within 10 meters of the audio source the Plantronics BackBeat PRO can be up to 330 feet away?
Any one of these factors would be impressive. When you put them together however, they make for a feature-packed pair of headphones. But how do they sound? We’ll cover that and a few additional standout features in the full review.
Check them out here: Plantronics Headsets and Accessories.
Hi. Between the backbeat pro and the harman kardon BT which one would you choose, based only on the sound quality?
