Lincoln Debuts All-New MKX in Detroit

Lincoln Motor Company (still a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company) took the world stage Tuesday morning to shows its all-new MKX luxury midsize crossover utility vehicle. While not calling it at 2016 model, the next MKX will boast a choice of V-6 powertrains including the new 330hp turbocharged EcoBoost 2.7-liter V-6 and two new available Lincoln Black Label limited edition designer themes.

This next MKX features Lincoln’s new design theme along with more refinement and the latest technology offered by the automaker. Body structure and chassis components have been upgraded and complement the new integral link rear suspension making this the best-handling, best-riding and quietest MKX yet.

Highlighting the new interior is Lincoln’s adaptation of new Revel audio system from Harman. The Revel Ultima system in the Black Label MKX will feature 19 speakers with point source architecture and QuantumLogic surround sound techology for optimal, adjustable audio listening.

Lincoln says the new MKX will go on sale this fall.
