My first computer speakers came from Logitech and are still going strong. My office speakers come from Logitech and fill my larger study. Now Logitech had unveiled the Logitech z533 Multimedia Speakers. A front-facing subwoofer, 2.25” full range drivers and a wired control pod for convenient power, volume and bass control combine to create huge sound for small dollars.
As Logitech explains, these speakers, “Deliver Powerful Sound That Moves You Add Intensity to Your Entertainment with Room-Filling Sound and Rich Bass.” Philippe Depallens, general manager of home audio for Logitech observes,
We hear from consumers all the time about how much they love their Logitech speakers, and it’s often with a tone of surprise about just how good they really are. We know that once they listen to a Logitech speaker they’re hooked, and the z533 will not disappoint.
As noted, the system has a front-facing subwoofer with 2.25-inch full range drivers.
These, combined with a wired control pod that can be placed in a convenient spot for easy access to essential speaker controls, such as power, volume and bass, along with a headphone jack and extra 3.5mm input, offer a convenient way to enjoy music or videos while you work.
And since Logitech understands people connect to their sound system in a variety of manners, they built multiple connectivity inputs into the system. These include both 3.5mm and RCA so the system can be used with almost any device with an audio output, such as a computer, tablet, smartphone — or even a TV.
The Logitech z533 Multimedia Speakers are expected to be available in the U.S. beginning in October 2015, for a suggested retail price of $99.99. We have a sample on the way for review. You can learn more here.
