Over the past month I’ve taken a trip almost every weekend, and with the plenty of gadgets that I have to carry, I knew I was in great hands with This is Ground’s Tech Dopp Kit.
If you have been looking for a product that will not only hold all of your cables and cords but will bring more organization to the things that take over space in your gadget bag, the Tech Dopp Kit is there to make sure that you will never have to go through searching an entire bag for a cable or charging brick when you need it. I received the charcoal “Grande” which will set you back about $249 unless you decide to have it monogrammed with your initials for an additional $50.
The bag itself is made of 100% genuine leather and the dimensions are 9″ x 9″ x 2.25″, and comes with a gold-plated zipper that will keep everything in its place while in your bag. On one side of the bag, you’ll notice that there are six organizational spots for things like cords, headphones, or in my case, even my Apple Watch bands fit into these slots.
Each strap is pretty sturdy and after a month they still hold my cables snug. At any given point I have at least 5-6 cords on me to charge up my iPhone, iPad, Bluetooth headphones, as well as my Apple Watch. It’s gotten to the point that I’ve taken to Amazon Prime to order one awesome three-in-one cable.
If you have accessories other than cables, such as a mobile hotspot, Chromecast, or even a pair of headphones that you carry with you on your trips, the Tech Dopp Kit easily hold onto these as well.
I know I am a hoarder of all things tech, and here are all of the items that I keep in my Tech Dopp Kit currently:
- Nomad Pro For Apple Watch
- Jaybird Cleaning Cloth
- MacBook Air Charging Brick
- LaCie Porsche Design Hard Drive
- iPad Power Brick
- Bragi Dash Headphones
- Tylt Dual Port Power Brick
- Jaybird X2 headphones
- ADATA MicroUSB Cable
- CyanB Micro USB 3-in-1 USB Adapter Cable (2)
- Two Apple Watch Bands
Not pictured:
- Anker PowerCore+ 26800 Premium Portable Charger with QualComm Quick Charge
There is even a nice zippered pocket inside of the bag that is perfect for smaller items like SD cards or batteries. I currently put my 10 foot Native Union cable, as well as my Proper 10,000MaH portable charger in there.
This is Ground’s Tech Dopp Kit is easily my favorite new accessory that not only makes my backpack way more organized, but since I swap bags to review pretty often, the Tech Dopp Kit can easily fit in either my STM Tressle, or my Incase Icon bag with ease. The leather, when worn, looks beautiful, although I do wish now that I went with the brown color over the traditional black. There are plenty of alternatives all over Amazon that you could purchase, but I promise you, NONE are a true tech kit to house all of your things. The price is a bit daunting, but this is certainly a case of getting EXACTLY what you pay for, not only in quality but in overall usage.
I go nowhere without my Tech Dopp Kit, and you should for sure get yourself one!
