LG Gram Laptops in 14″, 16″, and 17″ Sizes Promise Power, Speed, and Style

You probably know LG for their extremely impressive televisions, or their home appliances, or their phones. LG makes a huge lineup of impressive devices, and we’re getting more info on prices and availability for the LG gram laptops they announced at CES.

LG never does the “usual”; they’re always adding little touches to make their products that much more useable, attractive, and efficient. They’re doing the same with the LG grams, where they all offer 16:10 aspect ratio screens instead of the usual 16:9.

The upshot here is that you get more screen real estate, making it that much easier to do work on the go. They’ve also expanded the keyboard and touchpad for the same reasons, so working feels more comfortable, and therefore you’re more productive. And since they know we don’t all want to rock the same black or gray laptops, they’re offering them in white, black, silver, and green shells!

Inside is Intel Evo Platform verified, with an 11th Gen Intel Core processor with Iris X Graphics. Some models come with extended high-density batteries to ensure longer life as well. LG also shaved down the bezels, so the LG gram 17, 16, and 14 all feature a screen to body ratio of a whopping 90%! The gram 14 starts at $999 for a 14″ screen, the gram 16 starts at $1,299 for its 16″ screen, and the gram 17 starts at $1,799 for all that luxurious 17″ screen goodness.

All three LG gram laptops are now available on LG’s website!

If you’re looking at this and thinking, “non-touchscreen laptops are SO 2019″, well, good news, LG gram comes in 14″ and 16″ 2-in-1 as well! LG says these will have a 360-degree hinge as well as a Wacom compatible stylus pen, so you can seamlessly move from typing to drawing and back again. Look for these LG gram laptops in mid-March, with the 14″ starting at $1,699 and the 16” starting at $1,999.

  1. Seems to me this is getting asinine. A laptop doesn’t need to be *so* thin and light, especially at these screen sizes. It’s good engineering, but I would much prefer where the ultrabook form factor is heading.
