We love Nomad’s products. We love them even more, when special savings are involved, which is exactly what’s happening during their annual Black Friday sale. Even though the savings are terrific this year, Nomad decided to do something extra special. So not only are they announcing this year’s deals, but they’ve just introduced the Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat.

Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat

I’ve been checking out the Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat, and I’m impressed; it’s a great way to dress up your desk while making your space more comfortable and “mouse friendly.”

The mat, which is available in either mocha brown or black, measures 33″ long by 14″ tall for a total of 462 square inches of soft, smooth, and luxurious leather.

Made from waterproof Heiden Leather, the Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat’s back is covered with felt, so your desktop is extra protected.

Silicone grips on the back of the Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat

Strategically-placed silicon grips on the back keep the desk mat securely in place.

As its name implies, the Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat is a limited edition product — only 300 were produced, and I feel lucky that I was able to get one of them. Sure, it adds class and visual interest to my desk, but it is more than just eye candy.

The thick leather and felt backing have just enough “give,” which is more comfortable on my hands and wrist than my desktop as I write or work on my computer. The edges are sharp and clean, reflecting the incomparable workmanship Nomad brings to its products. Since the entire Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat is one huge mousepad, it makes using a mouse more accurate and more comfortable.

And finally, as someone who tends to let clutter collect over time, having a desk mat that defines the work surface of my desk has helped me be a bit more disciplined about keeping my desk neat. Basically, I’ve committed to keeping the surface of the desk mat clutter-free. Over time I’m hoping to extend that to the entire desk.

Even if you don’t suffer from desk-clutter syndrome or use a mouse, the Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat looks great and makes a great gift. It sells for $179.95, but during Nomad’s Black Friday sale, it is just $134.95.

Nomad only produced 300 of these, and since I have one of them, there are just 299 left. So check it out and pick one up if you like what you see. Because when they are gone, they are gone.

And speaking of gone…

Nomad’s Black Friday Sale won’t be around for more than a few days. This year the company decided to make life easy. Rather than picking a few of their excellent products and offering steep discounts on them, Nomad decided they would put their entire store on sale; for the next few days, you can save 25% on everything!

Like the Nomad Limited Edition Full Leather Desk Mat, the Everything Sale is a limited edition. You can check out all of the savings here.
