There’s a lot of talk about the golden age of streaming, but the reason we can enjoy all these cinematic shows is because our televisions are becoming increasingly powerful and exciting. Hide your wallet because Samsun is pushing its television offerings to a new level in 2023!
Samsung is offering up a premium experience with the Neo QLED 8K and 4K. All Neo QLED televisions have Samsung’s Neural Quantum Processor that drives AI upscaling for even sharper and more lifelike pictures.
Samsung uses a proprietary algorithm for Auto HDR Remastering, which uses AI to turn SDR content into HDR content, making everything look brighter.
They’re also integrating SmartThings directly into the televisions, so you won’t need a dongle to control third-party appliances and other IoT items.
Meanwhile, on the MICRO LED front, they’re offering televisions from 50-140″ because sometimes what your living room needs is an 11-foot television.
The MICRO LED devices are modular, so you can conform the style and size to your needs easily, plus you get a bezel-free experience to make it look even more natural.
Samsung OLED televisions will come in 55, 65, and 77″ configurations, as well as quantum dot technology, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Samsung Gaming Hub.
As an added bonus, the OLED televisions will have AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certifications, indicating the OLED gaming experience will be top-notch.
All Samsung smart TVs will come with Samsung TV Plus, which is a free ad-supported and video-on-demand service. In addition, Samsung is shifting to Eco-packaging that uses minimal ink and paper tape to reduce plastic use.
There’s also an AI energy-saving mode, and they’re integrating more recycled materials into the products themselves.
A key component of being entertained is also making sure everything sounds good. Samsung has two new soundbars coming out, the HW-Q990C and the ultra-slim HW-S800B, both with Dolby Atmos.
There’s also a feature called Q-Symphony, where the television speakers and soundbar work together, making the sound even more immersive!
Those soundbars look nice! I’ll have to get one.
