JBL Brings Modern Music Technology to Classic Component Styles

We can tap into multiple lifetimes’ worth of music libraries on our phones, but nothing will replace a home entertainment system to really enjoy our music. JBL has a slew of stylish and powerful speakers, turntables, CD players, and streaming devices in classic and modern designs to up your music game in 2023!

JBL is rolling out a whole line of products to add to its Classic series. The Classic moniker means components made to style the sort of old-school wood-paneled look that feels analog, but under the hood, the devices are very, very modern.

The new additions to the JBL Classic family will include the $2,000 SA550 Classic integrated amplifier, the $700 MP350 Classic streaming media player, the $800 CD350 Classic CD player, and the $1,000 TT350 Classic turntable.

The streaming media player can connect directly to Spotify and Tidal, and if you want to beam other music, you can use Airplay or Chromecast. Meanwhile, the turntable will handle 33.3 and 45 RPM records, as well as feature a hinged dust cover to complete the perfect retro look.

The JBL L10cs

If you’re serious about your sound system (and of course you are), your subwoofer can match the rest of your classic lineup with the $700 JBL L10cs 10″ downward-facing subwoofer. Like the rest of the classic line, it sports real wood on the outside but modern power on the inside!

JBL 4329P Studio Monitor Powered Loudspeaker

Of course, you’ll also need a good loudspeaker system to truly fill out your music needs. Enter the JBL 4329P Studio Monitor Powered Loudspeaker (MSRP $4,500 per pair). These pack significant power with JBL’s 1-in compression driver, a high-definition imaging horn, and an 8-in pure-pulp black cone woofer. There’s also support for Chromecast, Airplay, and Bluetooth 5.3 aptX adaptive technology. You can stream right off your phone or connect it to another system, but you’ll get incredible premium sound no matter how you use it.

The JBL SPINNER BT

If classic isn’t aesthetics for you, but you love turntables, you might like the JBL SPINNER BT (MSRP $399). As the name implies, this is a Bluetooth-enabled turntable that offers 33.3 and 45 RPM speeds,  as well as connections for wired connections to other devices and speakers as well. It might not quite carry the classic aesthetic, but it definitely will play your classic records!

The JBL Bar 1300X

Now, you might be thinking that you don’t just want your music to sound good; you want your whole home theater setup to sound amazing!

JBL Bar series will bring Harman’s PureVoice, which uses a unique algorithm to bring out voice clarity, for an even better movie experience. The soundbars can connect to other speakers and use Alexa/Google Assistant/Siri; they will also have AirPlay 2, Alexa, and Chromecast built-in, so you can ping any music service you want.

There’s a soundbar for every budget: JBL Bar 1300X will retail for $1,699.95; JBL Bar 1000 for $1,199.95; JBL Bar 700 for $899.95; JBL Bar 500 for $599.95; and JBL Bar 300 for $399.95.
