Lenovo is shaking things up with the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, a laptop that’s as dynamic as the professionals it’s designed for. Imagine starting your day with a compact 14″ laptop for quick tasks, then seamlessly expanding it to a 16.7″ display for deep-dive projects or presentations—all with the press of a button or a wave of your hand. It’s not just a cool trick; it’s a practical solution for multitaskers, creatives, and anyone who needs flexibility on the go.
The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc graphics, making it more than capable of handling demanding workflows, from editing high-resolution images to crunching data-heavy spreadsheets.
Its 120Hz OLED display ensures buttery-smooth visuals with vibrant colors and sharp contrasts, perfect for work and entertainment. The edge-to-edge keyboard adds a premium touch, giving you plenty of space to type comfortably without feeling cramped.
The standout feature, of course, is the rollable display. Need a little extra screen space for designing, coding, or analyzing? Expand the screen vertically for nearly 50% more room to work. This unique setup is particularly handy during video calls or presentations.
With Lenovo’s ThinkBook Workspace, you can split the screen into two functional zones: one for sharing during meetings and the other for taking notes or managing tasks. No more awkward alt-tabbing between windows while trying to keep up with a meeting.
This vertical expansion also encourages better posture. By raising your line of sight, the screen helps reduce neck strain, which your chiropractor—and maybe your grandma—will appreciate. It’s an ergonomic win for long workdays, especially if you tend to hunch over your desk.
But wait; there’s more! Advanced AI features like Lenovo AI Now, and Copilot+ are baked in to make your life easier. These tools can streamline tasks, offer suggestions based on your work habits, and even help with content creation or data processing when offline. Think of it as having a super-smart assistant built right into your laptop.
This ThinkBook laptop is as portable as it is powerful, with a slim 19.9mm profile and a weight of just 1.7 kg. Its connectivity is top-notch, too, with Thunderbolt 4 ports and Intel Wi-Fi 7 for lightning-fast data transfers and seamless online experiences. Whether hopping between client meetings or working from your favorite coffee shop, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is designed to keep up.
I love the concept of this. Especially when combing through data in a spreadsheet, this would be ideal. My only concern would be durability and potentially cost.
This is so cool! Would be great for traveling for work!
Wow,that’s incredible. When you need more screen, there it is,fabulous.
The design is amazing and unique and would be useful for more viewing
This is really unique and interesting. We’ll see how it develops in a few years, when rollable laptop screens should be less expensive and they’ll have found any problems they may have.
I was amazed when I first saw this posted on the Lenovo forum. When they first start releasing laptop cases with attached screens… I thought to myself, why not put the screen inside of the device? I’m glad that Lenovo will be the first to bring something like this to the public!
I cannot express to you how amazing this laptop sounds. The ability to store the laptop as a compact item, but then to also be able to expand the screen so you don’t have to sacrifice size for carrying size? If there were any advancements that were what 100% of users wanted, an expanding screen is it.
