Nothing says Halloween like a donut, right? Well, Dunkin’ thinks so, and every Fall, my kids look forward to the seasonal emergence of the Spider Donut. This year, they’re helping us celebrate at home with the new 6′ Dunkin’ Spider Donut Inflatable! Complete with a built-in fan and LED lights; it’s a fun way to decorate for Halloween.
The new Dunkin’ Spider Donut Inflatable is a fun way to celebrate the spooky season for those who love baked goods. Made out of nylon, the Spider Donut inflates thanks to a built-in fan and lights up using built-in LED lights for a great nighttime effect.
The Dunkin’ Spider Donut Inflatable also has loopholes to use, with included ropes and plastic stakes to help keep it from wandering off with the wind.
We got the Dunkin” Spider Donut Inflatable set up within about 15 minutes after figuring out how to secure it to the lawn with the included ropes and stakes.
It automatically started inflating when we plugged it in and inflated fully within about 5 minutes. My kids held it up while I installed the stakes with a mallet.
My only complaint is that two of the plastic stakes broke while I was hitting them into the grass, but luckily, I had some other stakes to use instead. Even though it’s windy and slightly rainy here, the Dunkin’ Spider Donut Inflatable is impressively stable!
When it comes time to take down your Halloween decorations, there’s a zipper in the back to open to deflate the donut after unplugging the power cord. However, I’m not looking forward to trying to fold it back up and trying to squeeze it back into the box!
The five LED lights built into the Dunkin’ Spider Donut Inflatable are surprisingly effective, as shown in the photos below. The eyes of the spider really pop, and you can see the spider from down the street. I am pretty impressed!
