No one likes scum on the surface of their pool, but likewise, no one lists “skimming the pool” as their top chore they enjoy. It’s ok, though — Beatbot has the Sora 70 robot, who would love nothing more than to happily spend the day skimming your pool for you.

Sora 70 is the first in a new line of robots for Beatbot, who already have an impressive catalog of pool cleaners. The new Sora will feature JetPulse Water Surface Cleaning, which uses dual jets to guide floating debris toward the suction area. This way, it can grab even more insects, pollen, and other detritus before it sinks down further. The pump itself generates 6800 GPH, which Beatbot says is enough to handle fine sand, whole leaves, and algae.
Plus, with HydroBalance™, the Sora 70 can stay nimble and balanced, and cover all sorts of areas, even very shallow ones where some robots might struggle. It’s internal tank can hold up to 800 leaves [that’s a lot of leaves!!] and has an optional ultra-fine filter that can strain down to 3-microns for super clear water.
It also features a 10,000 mAh battery, which should provide 5 hours of floor cleaning or 7 hours of surface skimming. It also has Smart Surface Parking, which Beatbot says was inspired by how submarines surface. The Sora pulls in air and pushes out water, making it float gently to the surface and keeping it from being waterlogged and awkward when you go to pull it out.
The Beatbot Sora 70 is scheduled for release in Spring 2026, with its pricing yet to be determined.
