Cons
Anker has built a strong reputation for reliable portable power solutions, and its SOLIX line reinforces that standing. The new Anker SOLIX F3000 Portable Power Station continues this mission, delivering practical, powerful backup for home and off-grid use. Despite its hefty 91.5-pound build, its rugged wheels and handle make it surprisingly easy to maneuver. It promises peace of mind with high wattage and long-lasting battery life, but let’s be honest, you’ll still need some muscle to lift it into your trunk. Does its impressive feature list and solid construction justify the premium price? Let’s find out.
The Anker SOLIX F3000 is a 3,600W battery power station with a 3,072Wh (3kWh) LFP battery designed as an essential home backup for short-term power outages. It weighs 91.5 pounds, though each expansion battery module weighs approximately 55 pounds. Thankfully, it includes rugged wheels and an extending handle for easier transportation. The power station arrives with an AC charging cable, a high-voltage solar charging cable, a user manual, a warranty card, and a warning notice.
Using an optional cable, the Anker SOLIX F3000 features pass-through charging, allowing necessary devices to run while charging simultaneously with a gas generator. One unit provides 3,600W of 120V output and can be connected to a second unit with a Double Voltage Hub for a total of 7,200W of 240V output to run high-demand appliances. The InfiniPower LFP battery is designed to last up to 10 years with around 4,000 full cycles, making it a long-term investment for power security.
The EasyTow Suitcase Design makes the Anker SOLIX F3000 easier to transport despite its hefty build. The wheels are durable, and the telescoping handle tucks away smoothly when not in use.
Four standard 120V AC outlets and one 30A TT-30R RV-style plug are included on the front panel, along with an Anderson DC output for RV and off-grid use.
One car charging socket and a DC Port are included. For smaller devices, there are two USB-C ports (each up to 100W output) and two USB-A ports (12W each). The unit also supports ultra-fast 2,400W solar recharging using dual MPPT inputs—one supporting 11-60V (up to 800W) and another supporting 11-165V (up to 1,600W). This versatility makes the F3000 ideal for both portable and rigid solar panel setups.
The screen is bright and easy to read, providing all the necessary information to manage power input and output efficiently. One thing Anker does well is maintain a consistent and intuitive design style across all their devices. The SOLIX F3000 also connects to the Anker mobile app for detailed control and monitoring.
A standout feature is its ultra-low idle power consumption. The F3000 can remain on standby for up to 125 hours or run a 190W fridge for approximately 42 hours on a single charge. Additionally, it supports UPS functionality with a 20ms switchover, ensuring sensitive electronics continue to operate during brief outages.
All charging and extension ports are housed on the side of the unit. You can connect the unit to solar power, shore power, or a generator to charge it while powering other items. Additional storage can be added with expandable batteries, offering up to 24kWh for approximately 80 hours of essential use. Optional accessories, such as the Bi-Directional Inlet Box and Smart Meter, enable Time-of-Use and Self-Consumption modes, allowing you to store off-peak power or solar energy to reduce your electricity bills. However, these accessories are sold separately.

Like all Anker SOLIX products, the F3000 is built to last for years and offers expandable features that provide extra peace of mind.

What Needs Improvement: Nothing

Our power is out so often here in the mountains, this is going to the top of my want list!
This would be a more affordable option for us during those short outages where we just need to keep the freezer and fridge running.
It’s would be nice to have as an emergency back-up. There are so many choices in this area you really need to be sure of the quality and ease-of-use you are getting – this seems to fulfill both.
I like that the battery in this power station can last up to ten years. This is an expensive power station, but if it can last up to ten years, then it is worth it. My house experiences blackouts several times per year during hot weather and storms. Having a backup power station like this can help keep my devices and appliances charged. I also like that it can charge a car even though I do not own an EV. The portable aspect of this power station is also a plus. I would not be able to move it without those helpful bottom wheels.
It’s impressive that the battery can last 4000 full cycles.
I love all of Anker products – the SOLIX F3000 is no exception – I’d love to have one of these for hurricane season!
Everything you need and more. I appreciate the pass through charging.
