The Lowdown
The SurviveX Large First Aid Kit is a thoughtfully designed piece of gear that moves beyond the basics. While we hope you never actually have to use the Zip Stitches or the battle dressings, having them on hand provides a serious peace of mind. Whether you’re a prepper, a camper, or just a clumsy tech blogger, this kit is a “must-add” to your EDC (Everyday Carry) lineup. This kit has found a permanent place in my emergency prep.

Cons
Whether you’re a weekend warrior tackling the trails or just someone who occasionally loses a battle with a stubborn bagel, being prepared is half the battle. I have seen a lot of medical kits, ranging from “two Band-Aids and a prayer” to “full-blown field hospital.” I like to carry kits in my Jeep and have a couple at the ranch in deer blinds, available for emergencies while working. The SurviveX Large First Aid Kit definitely leans toward the latter, and it’s become a fast favorite for my bug-out bags and trunks.
The SurviveX Large First Aid Kit isn’t just a box of plastic bandages. SurviveX has packed 240 pieces of professional-grade gear into a bag that’s surprisingly manageable. At about 7.3″ x 6.7″ x 10.4″ and weighing in at 2.78 pounds, it’s beefy enough to be comprehensive but light enough that you won’t feel like you’re hauling a brick on a hike.
The SurviveX Large First Aid Kit includes some cool emergency tech. Their Zip Stitch Technology is a non-invasive wound-closure strip that basically acts as a surgeon in your pocket. A nasty cut that needs stitches can be essentially zipped shut, reducing scarring and stopping the bleeding. If you have ever taken a “Stop The Bleed” training course, you know the importance of quickly controlling bleeding in an emergency.
We’ve all been there: someone is bleeding, and you’re frantically dumping the entire kit on the ground looking for an antiseptic wipe. SurviveX solves this with a color-coded, labeled compartment system. Red labels are for wounds, blue for hygiene, and green for tools. This is a fantastic feature that can save time in a stressful situation. Remember, time is essential when someone is injured, especially if they are bleeding.
The SurviveX Large First Aid Kit’s bag is built like a tank. It’s MOLLE-compatible, meaning you can strap it to the outside of your tactical backpack or mount it to your vehicle’s headrest. It’s also FSA/HSA eligible, so you can technically use those “use-it-or-lose-it” health care dollars to beef up your gear closet. Everything is labeled and easily accessible for convenience during a pressure situation.

The SurviveX Large First Aid Kit retails for $129.99; it is available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including Amazon.

What Needs Improvement: Nothing

I have used my car kit a few times over the years. Mostly on strangers in need.
Very interesting and good read!
Really handy to have with you whether in the car or outdoors. Has some nice features, but really have to price out the contents separately to see if the convenience is worth it.
for all that is included in the kit, it’s a decent price, and a definite consideration of something to have in your vehicle, RV, etc.
It sounds like this is well designed for use by people who aren’t necessarily well-versed in first aid.
