I wasn’t initially sold on the “nano as watch” concept until I tried on at CES. Now I’m a fan. In fact, I’m a fan who is excited to see a number of options finally becoming available.

One company that has bands available in the Apple Store already is iWatchz. Their Q collection is just $24.95 and is available in a number of colors. The bands have style… And so does their promo video. (See if you can figure out what other company might do this kind of ad …)

In addition, the company is expanding their line. At CES they announced the addition of two new product lines that will be available some time in the next 60 days. The new lines

including the ultra-premium Carbon Collection (featuring premium carbon watchbands and matte-black aluminum nanoclipz) and the Jelly collection (featuring vibrant translucent-coloured nanoclipz matched to the colour of the watchband).

We have a review unit on the way and look forward to sharing a closer look with you.

In the meantime you can learn more about the bands on the company site at www.iwatchz.com.

Dan Cohen
Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. Dan is married to Raina Goldberg who is also an avid user of Apple products. They live in New Jersey with their golden doodle Nava.
